I would just use the G2 until the warranty ends. 750W is more than enough, the G2 is a good PSU and the PSUs you mentioned would be downgrades from it.

Depends on the game, but your average game should be able to reach 60FPS as long you're okay with medium or high settings, maybe with the resolution set to something like 1800p or lower in heavier games. AMD have no DLSS equivalent, the initial DLSS was just worse than a simple upscale with AMD sharpening filter, all you need to do is to create a custom resolution at 1800p or whatever you want(1440P probably doesn't need it) and choose it in the game, the GPU/TV will do the upscale depending on your settings to fit in the screen, if you want to use the sharpening filter, just look for it in the driver settings.
From TPU, games are probably in the highest settings(without Hairworks, RTX and similar):

Probably this is the cheapest 2070S with a decent cooler that is in stock: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/L3tKHx/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2070-super-8-gb-gaming-oc-3x-video-card-gv-n207sgaming-oc-8gd

KaitouX got a reaction from Pascal... in Ryzen 4800H Supply Constraints at XMG Schenker, possibly extending industry wide
It's kinda weird that they would add this in the post considering it is unrelated to the topic and it's mostly things that have no proof of being true/important, it looks extremely unprofessional to have a rant in a notice about supply issues in my opinion. The first point while true at the high-end on Desktop, there seems to be no difference when it comes to notebooks, the lower performance of the GPUs compared to desktop and the lower performance of Intel CPUs seems to remove any visible difference in performance. The second point while it's a fact, there's no proof that it would have any significant impact in most cases, at least in desktops only some extreme cases can cause visible impact in performance. The third I'm not sure about it so no comments there.
The things after that(left out of the quote) are even more unrelated, being about some issues in Death Stranding when using the Ryzen 3900X which in the linked video is said to be likely something related to the latency or a bug, which likely wouldn't affect Renoir or even some Desktop CPUs. Even if the point is about possible issues with Ryzen CPUs, there's no guarantee that Intel wouldn't have issues in some games because of some random reason and the point about "platform stability" seems to have zero reflection in reality, as there seems to be no issues that are particular to Renoir CPUs in notebooks.

On-topic: I wouldn't be surprised if the ODM underestimated the demand which could have caused the issue to become bigger, but AMD having supply issues is something that will probably be a thing for quite some time.

KaitouX got a reaction from Mateyyy in Which 1660 super brand?
I would avoid the 1660Ti, as the 1660Ti performance is too close to the 1660 Super for it to be worth in my opinion. I would either go for a decent cheap cooler on the 1660 Super to save some money compared to the Strix/Gaming X or get some basic 5600XT/2060.

Also prices are dropping like crazy where I'm located, likely due to the imminent release of the new GPUs, both 1660S and 2060 dropped close to 15% in price in the last week. Might be worth checking for deals that might happen in the next few days/weeks.

KaitouX got a reaction from BTGbullseye in what was the greatest nvidia gen improvements ever?
The performance alone doesn't matter for most people, the price does. Even if the 3080 was 50% faster than the 2080Ti, if it costed $3000 most people would ignore it.
I really hope that if that 3080 20% faster than the 2080Ti is real, it would become also get a price cut and not a price increase, otherwise it will be probably one of the worst big node jumps in recent history for Nvidia.
Basically, if they repeat Maxwell(x80 ~15% faster than x80Ti but with a price drop) it will be good enough, if they repeat Turing then it will be really bad. Personally I would hope for such 3080 to not cost more than $600, anything more than that would be bad in my opinion.

Considering how much time AMD needs to get their market and mind share high enough to be able to do that, I don't think AMD will be slowing down the performance or increasing the prices too much. But i do hope Intel gets back to it in the next 3 years or so, it certainly would have some effect on pricing if Intel went completely "quiet" like AMD did with Bulldozer.

KaitouX got a reaction from Mateyyy in why are there so many ?
The 580 is usually the same price as the 1650S while performing basically the same but using twice as much power, the 5500XT 8GB is usually quite a bit more expensive than the 1650S which kinda makes it not that good, particularly when often you can find a 1660 for not much more. The extra memory is nice but not worth the trade-offs in my opinion.

Looking at the site OP posted, the 5500XT 8GB is about the same price as the 1660, so not really worth it, on that site the best options are probably this 1660 for slightly more than 200€: https://www.bestprice.gr/item/2155597418/gainward-geforce-gtx-1660-6gb-ghost.html?qid=3ot4wFmerFb_fc3d0&seq=6&q=gtx+1660&from=cat
or the 1650 Super for 165€:

Also the 1660 Super for 220€ is a nice improvement over the 1660, but that might be going too much over the budget.

The 1650 is one of the worst modern GPUs available, it should be avoided unless you have some special use case where it makes sense.
Don't know about your local prices, but in the regions I have seen in general the best options around that price are usually the RX570 close to $120(or local currency equivalent) and the 1650 Super for around $160. Also if the 1650 Super is a option for the same price the 5500XT 4GB makes no sense, unless it is the 8GB model for the same price as the 1650S.

If you don't care about higher noise, the Asrock Challenger, it is a bad cooler but if noise isn't an issue than you're just saving €50+ as the performance itself is going to be the same. If you care about noise then probably the Sapphire Pulse or Gigabyte Gaming OC when considering the prices on that site.

By the way, you can see the same thing if you compare the 10700K and 3700X at 4Ghz, the 3700X is going to be faster even if you lock both to the same clocks.

AMD got higher core counts than Intel(Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X), and are for the most part as cool as non-K Intel CPUs or cooler than the Intel K SKUs counterparts, also AMD desktop CPUs come with a better cooler than the stock cooler from Intel.

Edit: But if you're buying a ~$300, in my opinion you should at least get a decent air cooler for ~$35 that will allow much quieter operation or lower temperatures, unless you have some space constraint that doesn't allow tower coolers.

I believe Blender viewport(Eevee, Cycles is probably different) favors clock over cores, likely due to it's similar nature to game engines, the difference is probably really small but I'm pretty sure that the 10900K is faster than the 3900X. I would still go for the 3900X, but if you really don't care about render times, the 10700K/10600K might also work as well as the 10900K.

Especially since a 2070S that launched quite a bit later can pretty much match it.
