Considering the amount of built systems that get shipped around... Just take out GPU and cooling, pack everything well and get insurance from the shipping company. Moving is expensive, more so if you want to keep things in the hands of professionals.

he's probably using it for a phone review, so if you're interested, probably wait a month or so, and you'll see a review pop up on LTT.

Who are we to tell dogs that they're incorrectly using their bed?

Body and head fully in donut shape? Correct.
Rest only the head on the edge? Correct?
Laying right next to it barely touching it? Also correct.

    Summary
-This is Not an April Fools Joke-

AT&T, one of the Big Three Cellular Network providers as well as internet to millions of Americans, announced that a dark web database was released containing 7.3M active AT&T users and 65M inactive users. Most concerning is the leak of Social Security numbers and dates of birth.

    My thoughts
First AT&T had the major service outage, and now a massive breach of personal data. While the data is speculated to be from 2021, it is unknown how far back the data extends, so customers who switched form AT&T back in 2018 (Hi, hello, its me) could still be affected. Admittedly I was part of a family plan so my SSN should be safe(r).

As a reminder, using both a 2FA app like Google Authenticator as well as a Password manager are some of the best ways you can protect yourself in the digital world we now live in, which feels almost inevitable that our data will be at some point compromised.

updated a computer at work, and amongst other changes, swapped the super shitty e-waste keyboard that flexed from a single finger touch, to a new mechanical keyboard.

Helping the user when he's back:
"Now I just need to find the Enter Key"

....  It's in the exact same place as the old keyboard.

    30 seconds later:
"Now where's the caps lock key"

....  again, it's in the /exact/ same place it was before.

A while back I was helping a coworker fix some build errors he was having on a software project we were working on. We eventually got it working, but his method of debugging was to just look on StackOverflow and copy/paste random commands into his terminal until the errors were resolved. He was doing it all so fast that there was NO way he actually read what he was copying. Needless to say, that was... concerning to watch.

    My thoughts
I think this is a good illustration of the consequences of all smart home devices being forced to use the cloud, even though it wouldn't be technically necessary. News about this has so far only been published in Germany and I haven't seen much on the subject in the English-language news in particular, but I think it's definitely worth discussing.
