Ahh my fucking god. The Covid situation here in Switzerland was looking good with not a lot of new daily cases 3 Weeks ago, that now changed dramatically to 6600 new Cases last Friday. Our Government is lacking heavily in putting any new Lockdown Measures in place and clearly Communicating and enforcing them. I'm still going to work and school next week as usual but now I will have to encourage everyone else to also wear a Mask because well I've always tried to keep my distance but not always wore one because you not always think about it when you're busy. It's only Mandatory to wear a Mask in all Public accessible places such as Schools, Public Transport, Shops and Grocery Stores. I thought the situation would be better but no of course not less people are actually sticking to the rules. I'm honestly so fed up with this health crisis and numb from it, like we have 42.4 Million cases now in total since December 2019. Can you even imagine that number ? So we're basically a year into this Pandemic and it'll only get worse with now Winter coming again where normally the cold and the flu were just a normal thing two years ago but now you can't be sure if you actually have Covid instead. I will for sure get the normal Cold and then get tested straight away to actually be sure it's just a Cold. Luckily none of my family members nor Relatives have caught the Corona Virus so far, so let's hope it'll stay this way. I hope vaccine developments are going brrrrrrrrr real time ! Unfortunately you can't stop this Virus with drastic lockdown Measures because Politicians like to do a lot of bla bla.

I have completely ignored every lockdown restriction that I have been able to. At this point the whole thing has been so politicized I just consider it another fear tactic to try and win more power for governments and nothing more. Unfortunately my work forces us to wear the masks at all times, even though some of us have to do heavy labor and we end up essentially water boarding ourselves with our own sweat, which is sooooo much fun.
At first it was "we need to lockdown to prevent the hospitals from being overwhelmed" then the number of actual deaths (which is being inflated here in the US) didn't come anywhere near close to predictions, now we need "lockdowns to prevent the spread" which is something that.... that's just not going to work. First the focus was on the number of deaths, and now the focus is on the total case numbers. Moving goal posts much?
These cloth masks everyone is wearing do nothing to keep the virus out, or keep it in. Even N95 masks aren't that effective at it according to a study done in 2015 by the CDC, NIH, and IIRC The German health agency, and found them to be only about 44% effective at best for stopping the spread of influenza in medical environments when worn by trained medical professionals. (you'll have better luck finding this on duckduckgo than on google. Before it got noticed by social media it was easy to find, then it started circulating and google buried it under search results)
I have been travelling a lot during the whole thing. I've yet to get sick at all. And honestly I'm of the opinion that these lockdowns are doing more harm to the wider population than the actual virus is. Turns out major economic disasters can be seriously harmful and have long term consequences.
This is just my view on things. I feel bad for anyone that has lost someone over this virus, but I still think the amount of politics being played over the virus is disturbing.
