Keychron K4 Pro 96% Mechanical Keyboard with lubed MX Brown Switches and the creatively named HyperX Wrist Rest (full size)

I bought this Keyboard because I wanted a Wireless Mechanical Keyboard and this is the best one I could find which has a Numpad, has MX Brown Switches, has RGB (tho I'm gonna set it to a static color to simply use as a Keyboard backlight, very much don't like Unicorn Rainbow Puke) and has my preferred Keyboard layout. The cherry ontop is that it has lubed Switches, which I've never experienced before and I was immediately like: "Holy f#ck, this feels so good"

Oh and also I could replace the Switches because they're modular, if I ever wanted to up my Keyboard Game lol.

It came installed with the Mac Keycaps, of course immediately replaced them with the PC Keycaps. Now I wonder if someone makes a Linux themed Superkey which fits this Keycap set:

Will have to see if I like this Wrist Rest, at least it has a Rubber underside and lots of padding:

I forgot for a moment there that HyperX is now owned by HP lol.

    Got the seatpost today

saddle is just what my Cannondale came with and I never used it
26.2mm seatpost, except someone abused this seat tube at some point because that is loose as shit, and in order to compensate its cranked down with the force of 1000 suns

Might pick that up at some point. I know my friend wants to maybe do Ark Ascended. But Im not sure my current machine can handle it. Considering its piss poorly optimized and all the bugs that were in the original made it in to this game.

It has finally arrived (I just need to get everything else now 🫠......), though, I still wonder if I made a mistake buying such a CPU with the near future in mind: As much as I've been reassured before by others and by the reviews I've read and seen I still ask myself if the 7950X3D, for +/-250€ (which is a lot, to be sure, but it's not 2 times as costly and, yet, it has x2 as many cores), wouldn't have been a "safer" option 😔.

Clearly not if they're still selling them. Their business model might work well enough.

Not a personal experience but I have seen people on Amazon that think 1tb flash drives for 25usd is real. Tech scams aimed at non tech people is horrible.

@SimplyChunk I use a surface 3 as interface for my CNC:
Cheap, fanless, good display and digitizer/pen support and doesn't need a fast CPU.

I enjoyed my play through of Firewatch a lot and The Invincible is basically that but in Space, also it's Steamdeck Verified which is always very nice to see. I had Cyberpunk in my Wishlist since it came out, finally bought it at 50% of lol:

Not a purchase again but My Mum got herself a new Surface Go 3 so she gave me her old Surface 3 to play with/wipe.  Considering the specs, this thing has done incredibly well since she bought it AT RELEASE and used it daily since release.  She's always kept it on Windows 8.1 though so i think that has a lot to do with it.  I factory reset it today and logged in to on my account.

WOWW!!! didn't think it was THIS BAD...I'll try not to use all these specs in one go.....

I would think 288 E-cores would beat 128 Zen 4C cores pretty easily, and that would give Intel back the multi-core performance crown. Whether or not they beat Zen 5C, though, will remain to be seen.

If Intel can actually make these at scale, and they can get them out early next year, it could actually be a big deal in the server space.

My concern is that by the time Intel brings these to market in any real capacity, Zen 5C might already be out. Intel has had a bad habit recently of pushing back launches repeatedly.

soldier_ph reacted to Seccedonien in EU Mulls Expansion of Geo-Blocking ‘Bans’ to Video Streaming Platforms
The EU is looking at it's current laws about geo-blocking and might want to apply them to audiovisual material as well so consumers all over the EU have access to the same content on a Netflix or Disney+ subscription which sounds like a huge win for everyone. But of course the rights holders seem to think otherwise:

This idea from the EU could absolutely work so consumers are not as tempted to pirate things (also making policing it less work lowing the costs for all parties involved since it doesn't have to be setup for every single country) and yet the rights holders are crying about it because they can't milk the consumer as much as they can currently and thus threaten to up the subscription prices for everyone if this gets passed. Am I getting this right?
