I’d ask for a Samsung 970 Pro or a T7 portable SSD if I were you.
Also, I’m not sure if Samsung had reported backdoors in their devices since the US government is quite cozy with Samsung. If you’re thinking about Google’s privacy invasion then that might be a reason not to.
