  1. So let me start off this topic with a little background before I ask my Question. Back in March Gamers Outreach had their Annual Gamers For Giving Charity Event. I was among the few that showed up for their Halo 5 Tournament. The tournament, sadly, was canceled due to issues connecting all the Xbox's into the same game. Microsoft has not opted for the capabilities of giving their games the Option to have a LAN Lobby, like most systems do. Instead requires that every Xbox be connected to Xbox live to play in a system link manor. I was not on the technical side of this as I was one of the players, and had very limited information given. All I know is that the issue was not resolved and canceled the event. During this entire process though There was a 300 BYOPC Lan, that was running and having no major issues for connection. So my Question I ask to you is this "Is there a way to setup a fake XBL server? So that instead of dealing with ISP and the actual Xbox Live servers, all the systems in a sense would be directly connected to the server, acting as Xbox Live. PS. If you don't know about Gamers Outreach Giving a quick look. They raise money though these events for Children in hospitals and other charity projects.
  2. Looking further into items I think I will go with the i7 6700K and the asus z170 mobo.
  3. I'm going to do my Best. I really want this pc to be a showcase.
  4. I really dont see the point in over clocking. (Please dont axe me). So do i need the i7 or can i stick with the i5? The Games im looking to play are LoL, Sc2, D3, NoLimits 2, Universe Sim, Simcity, Civilization, and hope to at some point get a VR set.
  5. So with the reviews from every one I decided to opt out and go towards Intel. Was able to find a deal with newegg that kept it in a decent price range. Moving with the 6500k i5 Skylake, running on ASUS B150M-C/CSM LGA 1151 Intel board.
  6. So my computer, that I first built I think is coming close to an end, and i feel like upgrading to a whole new system. My Plan: To build a silent gaming PC that also can be prominently displayed to show off the interior. The Hardware: Case: Be Quiet Dark Case Pro 900 (inverted to show of liquid cooling on GPU's) Mobo: ASUS z170 CPU: Intel i7-6700K Skylake 4 Ghz RAM: HyperX Fury 16GB (2 x 8GB) GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1070 (x2 in SLI) PSU: Silverstone Stider SST-St60F HDD: WD Blue 1TB SSD: Crucial 120Gb (Cost) $1930.65 Cooling: - 2 x EK-FC1080 GTX G1 Nickel (See through, reason for inverted cpu) - 2 x EK_CoolStream Ce 420 - EK-Supremacy Evo Nickel - EK-Xres 140 Revo D5 PWM - EK- AF ball Valve - EK-AF Y-Splitter - 16 x Ek-ACF Fitting -Black - 12m PrimoChill PrimoFlex Clear - EK-Ekoolant EVO UV Blue (Cost) $876.35 Current Total Cost: $2807.00 I Used Newegg and EK's website for price gathering. I'm hoping to update this page once I am able to buy all the parts required. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
  7. This is Awesome! Really hope i get the chance to win this.
  8. I know this works for the xbox 1. What you do is you have him give you his account info, sign in to your xbox with his account. Go to setting and then set his account to your xbox as his home xbox. You will then be able to access all the Digital Content his account has and all he has. Afterwards sign into your account and you are good to go.
  9. Sorry I should clarify a bit more. I leaving my old system for my family to use, so not scrapping it. All items are going to be new. What I want to do(prioritized in want) 1. Liquid cooled (quiet, not overclocking) 2.Using atleast 1 gtx1080 3. 16-32 gb ram 4. Large Windowed Case 5. Ssd for OS and some HDD memory for stuff. I think 1 TB would be good. I have no idea what i should get in either mobo or cpu. Mostly playing games like LoL and StarCraft, and streaming xbox one gameplay. Id like to be able to do video editing as well but that is not a big need for me. The 2500 USD is an aproximate willing to go up to 3000 USD
  10. Hello. Im planning on building my first Water Cooling computer in the near future. And was hoping to get some ideas on parts. I know I want to use two GTX 1080 and have them liquid cooled. And running a price point of about 2500 USD. Im not sure what else i would like it to have but I know I want to see into my case. Since this is my first liquid build i want to do soft tubing. I dont need peripherals as i can move them from my old pc. And the primary use of this computer is Gaming and streaming.
