kangster got a reaction from Shrubpig in Help, my motherboard caught on fire
It booted into the bios and all the parts were working when motherboard caught on fire. Everything was working apart from the motherboard being on fire when it was in bios so no parts were damaged apart from the motherboard as I turned of the pc immediately.

kangster got a reaction from Kilerbomb in GTX 780 or AMD 7990?
I would disagree with wait for the 9970 for several reasons. The 7990 is unlikely to get any cheaper and will most likley be sold out by October as the production of the 7990 will have stopped by q3 2013. The 7990 beats the rumoured specs of the 9970. Amd will want to move away from the position of being the best value so I believe that the 9970 wil not include the never settle bundle as they don't have to anymore if the 9970 beats the gtx 780 in terms of specs. Also in the UK GPUs are usually more expensive than the US so it may be Likely that the 9970 could be more expensive than what the 7990 is retailing for on the website so I would be paying more for less in terms of performance so I don't see a reason to wait for the 9xxx series. I really want the never settle bundle so I will most likely go with the 7990 instead of waiting for the 9xxx series.
