Disclaimer I'm in no way a professional. With that out of the way it can help if its in front of you by stopping sound from bouncing back to your neighbors, but IMO putting it up behind you might be the most effective.

Hey just looking into laptops for the upcoming school year, with online classes I won't have access to a computer lab so I am looking for a laptop with a rtx 2060 minimum. laptops can't dissipate excess heat that easily so stay away from overclocking it

my price range is in the $500 and below and I do understand that i was quite unlucky with the qc 25

basically my bose qc 25 broke and i am up to my 4th replacement from them, they all seem to have the same problem, I'm getting a bit fed up. I'm looking at purchasing new headphones : bose qc35 (I have some reservations quite obviously sennheiser momentums sony mdr 1000x just want to know 1. is there any other headphones worth looking at 2. which would have the best overall quality

I had a pair of bose qc25 mainly for the noise cancellation, a couple of days ago they went dead. as I was searching for new headphones i came across a pair of Sennheiser momentum 2 for about $250 cad (they had a minor defect but were never used and still had the original box). I'm wondering if it is worth the price, when I went to the bose store they said they were willing to give me a new pair of qc25 for $250
