  1. Greetings, With the next-gen GPUs heading closer, the current-gen's prices seem to have a substantial drop. I was searching for a bargain and stumbled upon a decently priced GPU. According to the owner the card has been subjecting into mining for 1 year, however, it was never overclocked. He also claimed that the maximum load his card undergone was 75%, with the speed fans being at 46%, maintaining a constant 65 Celcius. He kindly run some benchmarks and sent me the results, as well: Also note that this specific card is valued around 40-70$ lower than the other buyers' GPUs.
  2. TBH, I already own a gaming rig. I’ll be mostly using this laptop while I’m at university or away from home. I’ll be probably playing 2D/2.5D indie games, which are not really heavy. I’m more concerned about the capabilities any of these could potentially offer me in regards of programming. (Game development, rendering, basic coding etc.) Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN and Acer A715.
  3. Greetings, I'm planning to buy a new laptop. Its main use will be for programming (some game development, as well) and some light gaming (primarily indies and esport games). The first option consists of an i5 7300HQ + a GTX 1050 (4GB variant), while the other option consists of an i7 7700HQ + a GTX 1050 (2GB variant). Which one would fit my needs better? They're in the same price range and I was wondering if the extra 2GB would be of use in programming. PS. I already own a PC for my heavy tasks.
  4. I code mostly on Visual Studio 2017 and I’m planning to develop a game on Unity 5.
  5. Mostly 2/2.5D platform indies and esport games. I already own a gaming rig that runs pretty much everything at max settings 1440p. I will be using my laptop mainly at trips and university. I’m more concerned about the capabilities it can offer me in regards of programming, rendering and game development. My budget is around 600-800euros.
  6. Sure thing. Skroutz.gr is a price comparison service, we use here in greece. Thanks in advance.
  7. Fair enough; Lenovo Legion Y520-15IKBN and Acer Aspire 7 A715-71G.

    G230

Greetings, I own a Logitech G230 and whenever I plug it in it does emit sound, however, my mic is not working. (It is plugged in) I have installed my latest Radeon drivers if that matters.

  11. Those were my thoughts during that time. In the worst case scenario I'll have someone to build it for me. I hope they don't charge much. Have you ever encountered such an issue?
  12. No luck, hehe. After some research I've found out I'm not the first who struggles to clasp that thing. I guess I'll have to contact with their customer service.
  13. I believe I applying enough force. Pretty scared to press harder, I don't want to damage my 1700x.
  14. Not sure if the gap between the bracket and the hook is visible. Unlocked position? Mind explaining? VID_20180110_231019.mp4
  15. I have tried, though the hooks are not long enough to clasp it.
