  1. Alright guys, thanks alot for the suggestions to all of you!
  2. Yeah, that'd be good indeed thanks
  3. So mine is kind of a problem then
  4. Right, did not thought about that.
  5. Makes sense, but would be easier to just paint it. Do you have any suggestions on how to cover the pins while painting please?
  6. And here's anothe rather odd thing: when gaming the SSD reaches 40, while the HDD doesn't even cross 34. Although must be mentioned the HDD is right in front of the fans, while the SSD right under the gpu
  7. Yeah got that. Thing is I'm mounting it (and in future them) on the psu shroud of an NZXT H440, which means it is indeed in the heat zone of the gpu, and reaches when gaming 40°C tops
  8. Thanks. I'm a bit worried cause my SSD already runs at 40 when the pc is under load
  9. Hello all, I intend on paint my SSD to make it match the build color. Is there any issue I can run into, like thermals too high (paint impeding the heat to be dispersed properly) or something?
  10. Thanks both. I checked this but can't really find the faq about making a backplate if not with that plastic spray. Probably blind I'm going to check out those guys at Cold Zero
  11. I recall AMD's FX8350 and likes were pretty good with the adobe suite, even better than blue counterparts at times. Is that the same thing? Maybe it'll be like the same. Anyhow the man said so I guess he can't wait much
  12. The H440 was released some years ago. With the v2 NZXT added a fan hub and made bigger the intake/outtake grills for example
  13. I'd probably use another SSD if possible, but then again, maybe you'd run into budget problems. Great case anyhow, bought a month ago and I'm loving it. Just be sure is the v2
  14. Hello all I'm trying to assemble an N7 build (Andromeda here I come), and need to buy a new GPU. Since I'm going to play at 1080p I was eyeing either the radeon 470 4GB or the 480 4GB if the prices in the ol' europe get reasonable enough. But to the point, I want a backplate, and subtle enough not to spoil the build mainly black and red with accents of white. For that, imo the MSIs are pretty decent and silent cards, plus the 470 4GB is fairly priced at 220€ BUT without backplate and the 480 costs rather too much at 320. So I turned to Sapphire, but the backplate is totally offset with the color scheme. Power color is way too pricey, and the 470 has the "red devil" writing upside down, which is ridiculous. So here's the deal: can I custom build a backplate? If not, painting a backplate means voiding warranty or harming the dissipation in any way? It's true enough that if I need the whole build ready for the game release (wich is going to be in 20never) I still got some time, but I'd like to have an idea.. I'm itching to put my hands on new stuff and my dear HD 7870 now struggles to keep up to new stuff. On a side note, is really the Sapphire that much louder? The MSI with that PSU-like-zero-fan-speed is so much more appealing.. Thanks
