  1. Trying to figure out what reasons there could be for my new Intel 660p to be running at an average of the 11th percentile. This is my first NVMe drive so I'm not entirely sure I have everything configured the best way.
  2. Does your Crystal Ball have a price tag attached to this motherboard, or just winning lottery tickets? ?
  3. Just putting out a general inquiry about when people think the x570-i Gaming motherboard will be released by Asus. There doesn't seem to be any release data on their website that I have found (at least so far). Anyone know approximately how long it takes for them to get these itx boards on the market after a new CPU launch, or know whether or not this board is available for pre-order? Any information is much appreciated. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-Strix-X570-I-Gaming/overview/ <--- link for reference.
  4. So just recently I've ran into a bit of a networking problem. I'm an avid Heroes of the Storm player so bear with me. While playing this week I suffered from disconnections and huge latency spikes, which isn't really anything new. However, now the problems are more repetitive. So upon noticing this I decided to run a ping test. The exact command I entered into cmd was "ping www.google.com -n 1000". This test gave me the following statistics: Packets: Sent = 1000, Received = 876, Lost = 124 (12% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 38ms, Maximum = 3938ms, Average = 346 ms The average actually surprises me, often while watching the ping test I would see the latency jump to over 1000ms. The 12% packet loss is new, when I would run this test just a week ago I would have 0% packet loss. Recently in Wisconsin, we've had very strong storms, I don't know if I should attribute the packet loss to these storms? Would this community suggest I call my ISP and complain? Just earlier this week a family on the other side of the street lost a tree that cut just their own cable/internet/phone line. They had it replaced just the day after, could this have created some sort of interference? Being the curious person I am, I decided to run the same cmd command on a computer that is close enough to be physically connected to the router via an ethernet cable, as my main computer connects over Wi-Fi and at least at this point in time a physical connection is not possible. This computer offered completely different results: 0% packet loss, average = 38ms, minimum = 37ms, maximum = 50 ms. I understand that the BEST result would be for me to just buy a long enough ethernet cable to physically connect my computer to the router. However, I would still like to know why this problem just started now, when before my average ms for latency was around 45ms with 0% packet loss. In my case would a Wi-Fi extender be a good option?
  5. Warning: Just so that it doesn't appear as if I'm asking for publicity I will only send the link to my channel to anyone who requests it. I'm having a terribly hard time trying to get companies interested in my YouTube channel/Company. Just recently I was able to receive a review sample from a fairly large tech company, but many others turn down the requests or never message back. I want to put the time and effort into finding sponsors, but I start feeling like I'm treading in unfriendly water when trying to request things from companies. Now the reason I suspect I'm not large bait for these companies is the small size of my channel. I started this channel 8 months ago, and have gathered just over 4,000 views in that timeframe, but I haven't made any actual income off of it (youtube AdRevenue doesn't cash until you reach $100). I'm not strictly in it for the money by any means, but as a hobby it gets insanely expensive to buy items to unbox on a regular basis. If I were to offer sponsor spots I would think $5-10 a spot would seem reasonable given my small audience. How does this community propose I start asking companies for their investment. I have messaged through Facebook messenger to some company pages but I was for the most part unanswered or shut down. I sent out emails to the marketing team at a few dozen different companies back in August and didn't get a single response. Any Ideas?
  6. Recently, Otterbox pitched a new challenge to the young minds of the tech community. The challenge involved creating and pitching an idea for a module for their UniVERSE case line. The winners of which will be selected from each of the 3 age groups. Now that voting is supposed to start on the first of January, the community is allowed to vote on their favorite submissions to help decide who wins. I submitted my own entry, called the Note+, and I'd love it if you guys could check it out and pay a vote if you think you liked it. My video can be found here.
  7. Now I ask if it can support two analog signals because I have two VGA monitors. Both monitors are VGA only so I have no other options. So I'm using two different VGA adapters. One VGA to HDMI and one VGA to DVI-D. Some people say VGA to DVI-D won't work, but I have gotten each monitor to work with the graphics card.
  8. Sorry, I should have posted that Initially, my Motherboard is the MSI 785GM-E51. My internal GPU is ATI Radeon HD 4200 and my DGPU is Gigabyte RX 460 4gb Windforce Edition.
  9. So currently I'm in a bit of a predicament. I have two monitors I want to use but I keep running into more walls. Another thread I posted recently concluded in me gaining some interesting information. Apparently, you cannot plug two analog signals into one graphics card. I'm not sure why this would be an issue, and I have searched some other forums about this. Other forums say otherwise on this issue, but another issue I am running into is being able to run one monitor off dedicated graphics and another off of integrated graphics. I have searched my BIOS but it appears I cannot turn integrated graphics back on after I plug in a dedicated graphics card. Some people still have gotten this to work, and I have previously gotten my old HP Compaq to work with a low profile graphics card and integrated graphics. Can anyone answer the numerous questions I have?
  10. You mean it doesn't work? Because I'm viewing this forum through a VGA monitor connected to the graphics card with that very adapter. It's working right now.
  11. I am in fact using DVI-D, and I'm using it with my VGA monitor now. I don't understand why anyone would make DVI-D to VGA adapters if you couldn't receive a signal with them.
  12. Ouch, Alright, I never knew that was a thing. I mean, I understand analog signals I just never knew one graphics card can only support one analog signal. I suppose an HDMI monitor is something I should look into then.
  13. I chose Extend display, but because the other monitor isn't being picked up at all it didn't do anything. I did try and go into display settings and try and identify another display. but It still is only finding the one.
