Hi all,
The wifi in my attic room is awful so when I saw Linus talking about power line adapted I bought some.
I have one downstairs plugged straight into the wall mains connected to the main router and one in the attic plugged into a router. Both power line adapters are tp-link and the router is a d-link dir-615.
Mathis setup worked great for the first couple of days where I was getting 10 Mbps down and 3-4 up. After a couple of days I noticed YouTube buffering a lot so I did another speed test where I got 0.7 down and even less up.
The attic only has one mains socket. I've tried the same setup on the floor below the attic and I'm still only getting 0.7 down.
