  1. The New ram is a kit of 4. So i dont use any of the ram that used to be there.
  2. The New ram is the exact same, but its a kit of 4 instead of kit of 2.
  3. As written above it has a i5 2500k and a dont know the mobo, but the cpu supports 32Gb of ram.
  4. I bought 16Gb of ram (4x4) to Upgrade my girlfriends pc, but when i install all of them the pc does not boot and the Ram Ok light lights up red. I have tested all the sticks in pairs and separatly in every slot. So i've basicly tried every combination of every ram sticks in every slot and the pc boots every time exept when i put in all 4 at once (i did not put in 3 at a time for obvious reasons). The New ram is the exact same type, brand and speed. The only diffrence is that the New ram is a kit of 4 instead of kit of 2. Why does this happen? The pc has a 2500k. And a motherboard i can't find the name for, but the motherboard should not matter.
  5. @done12many2 I just ran IntelBurn TestV2 at 4.3Ghz annd 1.325V 20 loops on standard. After it was done it said my system is stable. Is it a reliebel stability check? Currently running prime95 to check temps and stability.
  6. Thank you very much for the help @PCGuy_5960 Thank you for the awesome help too ^^ I will come back and inform you my sucess/failiure after some testing
  7. Im going for a OC that is stable in the long run and also with accepteble tempratures (max 80C). I have seen some people get 4.5 Ghz, but I'm happy if I get 4.3-4.4Ghz
  8. I'm shooting for the stars But did i increase the right thing?
  9. My idle temp is 18C and the higest ive seen on 100% load is 52C
  10. Im using Corsair H105 with 4 SP fans running at 1200RPM Here is a photo after i increased the voltage. Did i do i right? Dident take it higer than 1.25V in case i was adjusting the wrong thing.
  11. I don't need something that overclocks like my I5 2500k, I just need good performance
  12. Ok. I will try increasing the voltage and see if i get it stable. I will come back and inform my progress or failiure.
  13. Yeah. Im getting freezing is cinebench if i go to 3.8Ghz ;(
  14. If i set it to 1.3 or 1.35V will it go down when im not putting load on the cup? Im fairli new to this cind of overclocking and overclocking in general. Also what do you think i should shoot for? 4.3Ghz? I have seen a lot of people who got 4.5, but that vas at 1.48V and that is a little high i think.
  15. Stock voltage. I dident find the voltage thing in my BIOS and I'm also scared to touch it
  16. I'm trying to OC my I7 6800k, but I'm having some issues, I got it "stable" at 4.0Ghz using IntelBurn TestV2 and prime96 as stability test, but when i tried to run Cinebench R15 it froze once or twise everytime i ran it. I read on some forums that this cpu should easely OC further. Im a doing something wrong? or dod i lose the silicone lottery?
  17. Im trying to OC my Asus ROG Strix 1080, but im only getting it up tp 1987Mhz (+100Mhz) stable. The temprature is oround 65C. When i try to push it any further i get artifacting in Heaven and Firestrike. I have given it 120% power limit and also tried giving it +100 millivolts to the core, but nothing helps with the artifacting. It is only i Heaven Benchmark and Firestrike. It does not crash and/or artifact in games. When i give it +100 millivolts to the core it boosts up to 2012 but goes back down after the GPU reaches 64C even tho i set "target temp" to 92C. Is this normal? I was sure i could push it further than this.
  18. This is a perfect projector for an event i did a few years ago. I gatherd a few friends and used my cheap mini projector to blow up an image on my grandmothers house wall. We sat there for 8 hours and played Left for Dead 2 in snow. It was -10C (14 degrees Fahrenheit) the whole time, but it was AWESOME. Sadly my mini prejector died after the 8 hours. If i win this i will try and do this event with my friends again Good Luck everyone! May the force be with you!
  19. Ok Thank you very muck for the help Have a nice day!
  20. How can the PSU be the problem that causes the GPU to heat up that much?
  21. When i ran Firestrike Extreme 10 times in a row to check the GPU temps the day i pot my pc together.
  22. I boght the GPU from a friend of mine who used if for light gaming for aboute 6 months. He never overclocked it. Everything looks norman when it runs benchmarks. (1000Mhz on the core, 1500Mhz on the memory, fan curve looks good.)
