  1. sooo wats a good build, also whats like a good 1k home server bulild
  2. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/sFRPDZ thx ! im gonna go for this build, can i swap the case for the Y70 will 1650W cause any issues?
  3. Budget (including currency): 8k aud Country: australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KmqzxH i want the cpu cooler to have the gif thing screen and i wanna put a LED screen on the front of my pc so it looks cool i might replace the gpu for a 50 series in the future so just want everything to be future proofed which is why everything is high are these good parts? or can i get cheaper parts somewhere without sacrificing any performance or improve any parts with a little more / swapping anything out
  4. how about just the 7800x3d and the 4090 cpu with like 96gb ram but wont it be as loud as jet engine
  5. Yes No is 96 gb of ram possible whats better than https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/memory/ddr5-desktop-memory/102679-cmh96gx5m2b5600c40?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-_mvBhDwARIsAA-Q0Q5u5YuqarGN934Gyw5klao0XAgVTf2h1mNkOcubKdM7L8LYXz5AGiAaAj8JEALw_wcB
  6. It's cheaper and gives like 20 fps less, and since im gonna swap out the gpu anyway it makes more sense no?
  7. I want a 7900XTX but when the 50 series come out I'd probably just switch the 7900xtx with a 5090 or 5080, while keeping every other part? So preferably every part would be future proofed but id just swap out the gpu? or do you think i wouldnt be able to future proof the parts e.g ddr7
  8. actually i think i want to use the 7900XTX 24Gb
  9. and is water cooling better? isnt it 10x better cooling than fans
  10. isnt the other ryzen x3d one better?
  11. Budget (including currency): 15k AUD Country: AUS Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: GAMING Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://www.lg.com/au/tvs/lg-oled42c4psa i want a pc build that can run any game (preferably triple a games like rdr2 or i guess future triple a games that can run on 144hz 4k with max graphics or near max graphics, if possible id also like a "monitor" arm for that big tv monitor thing im using as a monitor and i might upgrade to the 5090s cards for GTA 6 in 2 years? but right now i just want a pc that can run 144hz 4k with max that wont dip, and maybe a thunderbolt port too probably also need ddr5 with atleast 32gb but might need more for gta 6 not sure, unless ddr6 will be out by then?
  12. Thanks for your help man, I'll use build here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Its_Joshua_S/saved/2BPDjX with the parts you suggested. I'll most likely resell the pc / roll over some parts and purchase the new gpu / cpus, got a mate who can take it off my hands anyways since my current pc is fucking up and I just really need a temp solution this week for work (currently using a less fucked up pc that I have as a backup of sorts)
  13. If i didnt need thunderbolt and just needed wifi and bluetooth what ram, cpu and motherboard would you recommend
