  1. have you tried swapping out cables for the graphics card to your monitor? did you update windows recently ?
  2. the power button is on the back just above where the motherboard usb and stuff is
  3. just don't paint any electrical connections and you should be ok
  4. you can study for any certification here in the states with nothing more than the correct corresponding book, which you can usually get at a library or find used on amazon or any bookstore near a university. i would also advise getting work doing anything in any IT company, even if it is answering phones or doing customer support, as they will be way more likely to take you in as an IT guy once you get a certification. even if you have a degree, certifications are useful to have to set yourself apart. i have many friends who do IT here in the states and they all either have simple certifications or a combination of certifications with a community collage degree. honestly you could get apple certified and work at an apple store to get through collage
  5. i've got a 5820K myself, and it is great for multitasking. if you are always running VMs then you will benefit from the extra two cores. it is also a good overclocker, i've been able to get to 4.3 Ghz without hassle.
  6. do you have multiple PCI slots in your motherboard? if so try a few out. also, you can try booting to windows and installing the drivers for you 1070 manually. i would also check the power supply cables to make sure that they are working, or just switch them out for different ones. make sure the graphics card is seated properly and all the cables are snug. if all else fails, they do sell tech amulets in japan, maybe one of those will help?
  7. the one plus 3 is a good option that isn't crazy expensive. also, getting a pixel xl wouldn't be a horrible idea as they have gotten stellar reviews so far.
  8. you will have tons of choices for a high end phone. it's a shame the note 7 had to explode. i also hear that huawei is coming out with a high end phone with a really good SOC of their own. the pixel is good if nothing else to put pressure on the others to make better phones. so far reviewers have been loving the pixel, but is SOC is the same qualcomm in the s7 here in the states
  9. the iphone 7+'s 1080p screen actually comes in handy for gaming on the go, as its SOC only has to push half the pixels of the s7. pound for pound in gaming, the iphone will most likely always win but if you can get an s7 with the exynos then i'd say you're good to go on that one. here in the states we are still stuck with qualcoms infinitely worse SOC.
  10. even if the iphone had the same resolution as the note 7, and the S7, they would look better due to the OLED screens. the OLED screens produce better colors, like deep true blacks and crisp whites. as far as jailbreaking, it seems that everyone's millage may vary. many of my friends do it and have no issues, but you will always be behind on updates, which is an unfortunate side effect. honestly if you want to stay with a big phone, the iphone 7+ is probably the best choice, otherwise i would take the s7 as it is definitely the most similar to the note 7, as they both run the same SOC and have the same screen type as well as the same android skin minus the s pen
  11. it's the OLED panel that makes the real difference for the samsung screens, not resolution. which is why i would recommend the s7 edge or the iphone 7+. the s7 is very similar to the note 7 and has all the benefits of android, not to mention the waterproofing. the iphone 7+ has an amazing SOC and good water resistance, and if you don't mind jail-breaking it is a fine choice
  12. i have a 950 pro and it would be great for editing. scrubbing through video and loading projects and programs
  13. this build is definitely going to get you better performance all around. you can always add in a hard drive or a fancy keyboard later.
  14. Pixio has one that is about 390 USD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAB714894154&cm_re=pixio-_-9SIAB714894154-_-Product
  15. Vizio. i have owned a vizio for years and never had an issue. the prices are great and they can be found at walmart.
