  1. So over the course of a year I had several things bothering me about my Philips 47PFK7189/12 TV. The fact that it takes way too long to turn on 100% (sound and the ability to finally have any response from the buttons of the remote) and the fact that it is slower than my dad reading a text in german on his phone are things I can live with though. What recently (recently being about 7 months now) bothers me the most is that since I paired it with my PEAQ Sounddeck PSD400BT-B, every 15 minutes or so my TV tells me that I have ARC turned on, which I obviously do, for convenience reasons. Turning on my PS4 and having everything turning on at once is pretty dope. However, whatever I check in the TV settings, it always tells me "ARC active", unless if I, obviously, turn ARC off. I think it's needless to say that I got everything linked through HDMI cables. The hookup is the following: PS4 via included HDMI into PEAQ, PEAQ via HDMI into TV. Oh and recently there popped up another issue, where sometimes the TV just plays the sound through itself even though the Sounddesk is turned on and in ARC mode. Anyone got any ideas or do I really need to put up with their support?
  2. currently a nvidia 840M but if I get my rig this will be extremely helpful
  3. Yes, I would also get a OnePlus phone but no carrier in Germany provides them. I still don't like the glass thing Samsung has had going on and either way I want to move away from Samsung. As for TouchWiz, I use a different Launcher either way so the Home Screen does not bother me. And I'm not really an HTC guy. As for te P9 plus, I agree, the pressure thing is useless but that extra GB of Ram might be useful for me, also I think thst it has a bigger battery.
  4. hit me up if you need a voice actor! I've wanted to do this for a while now and I mean, I got a decent mic and some pop killers ^-^ I would be drumming too, but as for now I'm fine with my Launchpad, haha. I've tried drumming once and it requires some skill, that's something I've noticed immediately. But yeah, I like hitting things as well ^-^ Wow, that's a damn long time! How old are you if I may ask? As for the genre of your bands, I'd need a mentor for some pretty easy yet kick as guitar riffs to use in my tracks, haha And tattooing, wow, that's pretty cool! I want to get a tattoo as well, but at first I'd need a better body, haha. I always think of it that way: If I am overweight and get the tattoos and then get skinny, the tattooing will shrink as I do and it might look weird. However if it gets bigger, it might even look better, haha
  5. I'll tell you the same I tell everyone, get PayDay 2 and if you want to, add me on steam for some hours of fun
  6. Hey! Just want to introduce myself real quick: My name's Jan-Niclas, I tend to be called Janni though. I'm a hobby musician from germany with indian roots at the age of 18 years. I also do some sketching, a little bit of photoshop as well as less than mediocre video editing. As for my musical activities, I mostly produce Deathstep and Chillstep, two subgenres of Dubstep, but I can basically do everything as I got over 6 years of experience. I'm in the process of learning to play the guitar and I play some piano as well. In case you are interested to hear my stuff just search for "Endevie" on Soundcloud and YouTube, all of you who watch some sWooZie every once in a while will probably already have heard something I did Enough about me though! Let's hear about your creative work, I'd really love to know what this community is up to musically and otherwise creatively!
  7. I do because I don't really like my body though I have it particularely difficult to lose weight. Being overweight is in my family, such as heart problems and high bloodpressure and diabetes, I luckily have none of them by now, but what I do have is a f*cked up knee to a degree where basically the only sport I am really allowed to do is swimming, yet the sports that I really have fun at are parcour and wrestling, both something that wouldn't be really wise for me to do. I don't really eat that much though. for about 10 years I've been able to hold my weight and only gain some through getting larger. I'm now about 1.69m and 100kg. I can cope with it though, there are many times I tend to joke around about it myself but sometimes it still hurts a bit, also because I've literally been bullied for 7 years because of this sh!t and because my dad isn't from germany. I'd really love to run around in tighter clothes and still be able to see my crotch.
  8. Hey! I am planning on building my first PC in a few months from now! I'll need it mostly for music production as my HP Pavilion 17 is getting less and less efficient by now, but the occasional photoshop and sony vegas will be there as well. I got a bit of an idea but no specific parts I want to save up to. That where you'd come into play. So as I need mostly power I thought of getting a good CPU and about 32 gigs of RAM. I have an i5 at 1.7Ghz in my laptop right now and 8GBs of ram though both is not powerful enough anymore since my tracks improve and the projects get bigger. I don't really know if I will be overclocking in the future and tbh I don't really know how to and I probably won't relly need it, right? As for GPU, I plan on gaming as well, but I honestly don't care about graphics all too much. Occasionally PayDay 2 at higher than Medium settings would be totally ok and maybe a bit of Rust and Cities: Skylines, but mostly Stardew Valley and Prison Architect and maybe all the Splinter Cell games again. I do however plan on connecting up to 3 Displays in the future as I want to have my setup in my program with two smaller displays at the bottom (about 23" probably) and a bigger TV hanging on the wall above so that I can see my Playlist inside FL properly. I'd also need a lot of USB connections as I'm using an external Soundcard for things such as Microphone via XLR and Instruments such as Guitars via XLR, midi-keyboards, an external backup hdd (WD My Passport Ultra 1TB), my keyboard and mouse, webcam, micro USB cable of course and more in the future and I want to avoid using USB-Hubs as much as possible. As for storage, an internal 1TB HDD should be enough, maybe an SSD for the most important programs and the OS, though I'd have to see what size I'll use. Also a DVD writer would be extremely useful. And of course a proper Ethernet card (?), my connection is up to 100k I really have no idea on what to use for components though. Oh, looks is nothing important though, that thing will sit under my desk at all times anyways. Ok, on to the Budget, that will sit at around 1000€. I live in Germany btw. I will be able to go over Budget but only for things like a bigger SSD and maybe the RAM and not too much. one to two hundred are the total maximum. Things like Windows and Displays will stay out of the budget as I will get them for free. Oh and one last thing, please don't tell me about any offers as this is just the planning phase and I'll need up to 4 months to save up for it. Thanks in advance for your help with this ~Endevie
  9. money is not the issue, I'll be getting it via carrier, what I'm more interested in is performance and especially storage capabilities. Thanks for the info tho
  10. what's the difference between theP9 and the P9 plus tho?
  11. Well, I still have to see if any carrier here is able to give me a good offer for a new number and a phone, I'm defo not staying at my current carrier, I mean I can't even sit straight with my phone sitting at my desk not being touched for five minutes without it losing connection ten freaking times Even with my S4 back then this was the case and when I had my s4 I was living like 15 minutes away from one of these huge antennas.
  12. I tend to stick to black and blue anyways, haha I mean, if you could see me you'd see why
  13. Well, that was a good laugh right there You can keep writing in english, I'm learning it for a reason ^-^ As for that DBrand stuff, I'm also a bit sceptical about getting things from overseas because they might get stuck in checking them at the delivery. But if they offer shipping to germany for less than a few bucks I think that I'll really get a skin then, I don't know yet.
  14. I am pretty happy with my Note 4 as well, though I lost the first stylus and somehow the second one broke in half. As for the LG G5, the new design and the Volume buttons on the side really ruined it for me, those were some of the points I loved about the G series so I was pretty disappointed. I don't really like cases, I usually even play around with them OR any foliage etc, basically anything that sticks to the phone until it breaks or is rendered useless, lol. Bad habit of mine, even my gf gets p!ssed about that, haha As for the Nexus 6P, I've been a bit sceptical in terms of looks, but I also recently thought about the Huawei P9, I like the back facing Fingerprint sensor, but then, that bar at the top seems a bit weird to me. what's with all those weird glossy bars at the top and bottom of phones these days?
  15. I actually stopped caring about Samsung once they started giving their phones the iPhone 4 treatment. I don't like the Glass on the back, haven't even been a fan of this on the iPhone 4, and I don't really like iOS for my phone as I really like the ability to let Android look the way you want it to. I would however buy an iPad because as for what I've experienced, those tend to run better than other tablets. But then again, the most expensive Android tablet I've used is my Nexus 7
