  1. Thanks Ares, I'd thought of that too and appreciate your opinion there. Choosing a GPU is rather hard than buying a new clothes for me >_<!!
  2. Hi Guys, While I waiting for GTX 1070 G1 gaming (price at 2,300) to be restock at my local store, the tempting to get another gpu is high due to offer.. 1. Someone offered me a GTX 980 Extreme Gigabyte 4GB DDR5 for 1,300 bucks while the original price is at 2,500! And the product been using only for 3 months, he still got the receipt, retails box etc with it. Warranty 3 years. 2. GTX 980 Ti Zotac for 1,800 bucks, new product but have no retails box. Warranty for 2 years. 3. GTX 1070 Amp Zotac for 2,150 bucks, new product with retails box etc, warranty is 5 years. Please help with advises as I've been saving for awhile for my new card and is really hard to make the decision with all good offers around me at the moment. Thanks in advance. Regards, TTT
  3. Hi, Sorry to post at your thread, I did found a good deal Zotac 980ti amp omega too which is 500bucks less than 1070 g1 (in my currency) but it stated as "no retail box packaging @ reference clocked)... What does it mean?
  4. I see, I'm glad to hear that. Thanks mate Any 1070 users can share their experience and advises too if possible
  5. Thanks, because some of my friends keep telling me to get a better PSU e.g 1000W and above and it will cost me quite a lot too
  6. May I know if my PSU is good enough to support the 1070 or not?
  7. Hello Guys, Remember before I was asking between RX 480 vs GTX 1060, but today, another questions came to my mind and I really need advises. It seems I able to afford up till GTX 1070 G1 Gaming / MSI aftermarket card but there is some other things that make me worried a bit. Since I'm using i5 3470 CPU and a decent bronze PSU 550W +80, I wonder that will bottleneck the 1070 performance and should I go for Sapphire RX 480 Nitro instead? Or is there any other GPU you guys can suggest that good for my PC? Regards, TTT
  8. Thanks Thony and congratulation to your friends too! That's so good of you willing to travel that far just for friend's wedding. Yes I'm using standard LED 60Hz screen and I'm satisfied with 1080p and 1440p for my gaming at the moment. Don't think I will ever go to 4K unless I win some lottery! haha..
  9. Thanks for the info, umm not sure if this does help to disperse the heat fast or make my room hot faster.. I always open 1 of the PC casing side cover to allowed the air flows and yeah.. I've to dust off my PC quite often e.g twice a month and change the thermal paste once for every 3 months. Not sure with EVGA but I read the GTX 1070 SC quite good on that custom card. I never used any EVGA yet, usually either MSI or Gigabyte. Well the reason I'm on tight budget is due to saving money for marriage (well i know this bit off topic) and that's why I decided to go AMD for the 1st time of my life because I don't have the luxury to spend much on PC for time being. Regards, TTT
  10. Oh didn't know I can do that! Thanks a lot guys. Best regards, TTT
  11. If I do that, will it required a Windows 10 CD key or straight upgrade from W7 > W10 without required a key confirmation?
  12. Hello folks, As preparation for the new GPU which will be better at Directx 12, I was going to upgrade my current OS to windows 10 but..unfortunately I keep stucked at downloading the latest drivers etc for several hours (no progress at all and I'm using 30Mbps cable Network).. this is because I'd formatted my PC before. So my question is, Is it possible to upgrade to windows 10 without up-to-date the windows files updates etc first? or is there any other way I can download all the updates for my windows 7 and then upgrade it into windows 10 later on? Kindly helps. Regards, TTT
  13. I see, i never used any AMD gpu before, is just the polaris caught my eyes in terms of the prices. It seems nothing much can be done for the temperature if I'm going to choose this GPU. Thanks, I think i get the idea a bit, that's mean to reduce my room temperature is either I need AC or a proper air flow inside the room right since the heat generating from either reference or aftermarket will be the same... am I right?
