I am working on building my first pc and i was planning to get an rx480 anyway so this would help me massively as i could spend the money on other parts i need

there is no rush and aib coolers should only be a few weeks or a month or two right?

would the 480 be suitable for games like witcher 3 and gta v on 1440p at decent fps (50+)?

I am building a new rig and I am not sure whether to continue with my plan to get a GTX 970 or to move over to a RX 480 as most of the games that I want to play are Nvidia optimized but the 480 would be cheaper and have more VRAM. I am really not sure as I am quite new to the PC community and i am still learning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
