Tommy10606's Achievements

  1. You have to put the stick in at about a 20-45 degree angle. With a little bit of force, it will slide in. Then you can push it down and it will lock into place.
  2. If you have 64 bit java installed, minecraft will use more than 4gb of ram. Granted, that is with medium to high settings so your mileage may vary.
  3. Generally speaking, dual channel memory will give you a slight performance boost but in terms of FPS in minecraft, It may give you a few more FPS but nothing crazy. I would recommend installing the optifine mod for minecraft as that should give you more FPS than installing another stick of memory.
  4. Dell is known for screwing around with hardware. It is possible that they added more VRAM. You should try and see how much VRAM you can get your card to use.
  5. So, i installed a new motherboard into my rig because my old one was a 2nd gen. Everything was working fine up until yesterday. I was updating some drivers and crap like that and then my internet went out. I realized it was my computer as the Ethernet was not showing up in task manager. I am running a MSI B150M Pro-VD MotherBoard. Please help! Wifi sucks and i really want Ethernet back!

All of my start up programs are turned off and the only thing that boots up when my computer starts up is the operating system. I did a virus and malware scan and i did a file clean up w/ a disk defragmentation. I just upgrading to 8 GB of DDR3 Memory. I at the moment am wondering when to do to speed my computer up. Also i cant afford a SSD as i am 13 years old. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!
