  1. Managed to test the mobo with a spare gpu. At this point I'm fairly sure all three pci e slots aren't working on the motherboard. Still have no idea why all three though. Igpu is still working fine.
  2. Tried. I was able to get a signal and made it past post on the other computer. Wasn't able to test the motherboard with another gpu as I don't have a spare.
  3. Apart from the Rx480 that I just received I don't have another one I can use to check as the previous card is dead. I've been using igpu for a while now, so it might be limited to pcie. Anyone know how long Asrock takes to RMA? I doubt they offer advanced replacements, shipping labels, or upgrades.
  4. Looks pretty good, if it's for recording, editing, and playing games. If you're on a tight budget you can probably downgrade those components to match what you need.
  5. Is it possible to have both pcie x16 and x8 slots to have issues detecting gpu at the same time? I've never used the x8 slot before and from what I can tell, there's power from the pcie slots. I haven't used the x16 slot since my last gpu died so I'm not sure when this became an issue. rx480 seems to work fine on an older computer so I don't think it's the gpu. Tried reseating, clearing cmos, updating bios, etc.
  6. Clear cmos? Restart to UEFI from windows? Load backup/secondary bios?
  7. Probably, but I don't know why both pcie slots aren't working. It looks like it's providing power, but the gpu isn't detected in both x16 and x8. I've also never used the x8 before so I doubt it's the gpu. Tried, did the same thing on both version 3.20 and 3.40.
  8. Hi, I'm trying to figure out why my motherboard isn't detecting the rx480 and wanted to ask for help. I've tried clearing cmos, reseating the gpu, connecting to pcie x16 and x8, updating bios, and trying different pcie 8 pin cables. I had an issue in the past where my game would crash randomly. After a while my old gpu died so I assumed that was the case, but i'm not so sure anymore. The rx480 works when placed in a different pc and I can load windows using the igpu on the Z87 extreme4.
  9. Using a G710 because it was cheap. I want a new one because of those led lights
