There you go, I just gave you an $800 build that'll outperform whatever you could build with Ryzen for $1200

There's nothing decent on that socket, buy Ryzen 3 instead

Alternatively, here's a powerful budget build that you could do to replace whatever you currently have

Here's a table if you need one: https://www.ptable.com

You're allowed to pick a couple if you want.

My favourites are Bismuth and Silicon.

I like Silicon because I probably wouldn't be posting this otherwise. Its so useful in tech. Germanium transistors just had too many issues.

Silicon wafers are also really pretty:

My second favourite element has got to be Bismuth, for the simple fact that its also really pretty when it solidifies into crystals:

Whats your favourite element? Post below!

Would you be ok with leaving Windows unactivated? You don't really lose anything. Also, my school had a partnership with Microsoft which got us free keys, maybe you could check if you have the same.

I'd change that fx cpu and am3+ mobo to a g4560 + h110 mobo and get a better power supply.

I wish my school had esports leagues :c

    all of my what

    why the 4300
    why is the motherboard $10
    why is the ram 6gb??
    why the 400w housefire PSU

    Listen.
Get yourself a bunch of cheap HP/Dell prebuilts. Elite 8200 or 8300 are fine. Get a chip like the i5-2400. Get the SFF or full tower models.
Then throw in GT1030/GTX1050 (make sure they're the low profile version) and you will have a machine that absolutely demolishes that shit.

Gamboodle reacted to mynameisjuan in As of now, what is the best VR headset?
Having both Vive and oculus, Vive has more games, Oculus has better tracking (3+ cameras) and more comfortable controllers.

Eh, I currently own both and the Vive I'd say is slightly better. Only because of the wireless lighthouses and longer stock cable and game support. The Rift is a lot more comfortable, has better controllers, and is a ton cheaper though.

If you are just wanting to try it out the Rift package at $350 is incredibly hard to pass up.

Comfort wise it goes to the Rift, flexibility and ease of setup goes to the Vive.
