  1. are you going to sli? do you want a side window? how many drives are you going to use? There are plenty of cases in that price range but it depends on what you really want / need.
  2. If you really like the g303 design and features then yes you should get it. If you want something a little better for fps there are other options such as the corsair m65 pro rgb. Ive been using it for a couple of days and I love it already.
  3. Sounds like there is a process in the background slowing down the system. That would explain poor performance in loading and being unable to shutdown properly. Open task manager and look for any process hogging resources
  4. if you ask me, you should sell the computer with 4670k and get the skylake build you wanted in the first place. You get new architecture, better power efficiency and newer tech like usb 3.1 and thunderbolt. Moreover, you can upgrade your cpu to kaby lake later this year.
  5. everything seems great but the video card, you can get a gtx1070 for the same price
  6. did you check the usb configuration in the bios? Im running out of ideas
  7. then @Scruffy90 might be right, your device or cable is damaged
  8. I found something that could be useful https://www.wiknix.com/usb-device-not-recognized/
  9. your problem is not the usb driver then, you are missing the storage drivers. If your usb drive or external hdd dont work, but other usb devices do, then you need to install the storage/ chipset drivers.
  10. could you take a screenshot from device manager?
  11. well yeah, the bracket should be all the way into the slot
  12. well everything looks ok, there must be something wrong with magician then. As a last resort, uninstall magician > restart > run CCleaner and registry fix >restart > install latest magician. http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/downloads/software/Samsung_Magician_Setup_v497.zip if that doesnt work then Im out of ideas.
  13. can you read any info from the ssd using CrystalDiskInfo?
  14. For $300 you should get something with tempered glass. For instance:
  15. download these two: http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/utils/Intel_Chipset_V101127.zip?_ga=1.40812322.1890640380.1465195754 http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/sata/IRST_Win7-81-10_64bit_V14801042.zip?_ga=1.66026030.1890640380.1465195754
  16. first one is the intel storage drivers if i remember correctly, you need the second one plus the first driver under "SATA"
  17. Are you 100% certain that you installed all the drivers? if you did, your magician screen should look like this: try reinstalling all drivers just in case
  18. well if you get to the blue screen there are a few options to repair windows, but something tells me you have a driver issue. Magician software cannot read your sata information, Im thinking you are missing the chipset or storage drivers.
  19. Im just saying what happened to me. I was in the same exact situation with my ssd. I cloned my old hdd onto the ssd and then I switched to AHCI, blue screen. I let windows repair itself and then it worked
  20. a few things to consider : -you might get a blue screen -let windows repair itself -make sure all chipset drivers are installed and up to date, a new version was released like week ago
  21. Well, the corsair keyboards come with two usb cables, most people think that the second one is passthrough but it is not. if you are using usb 2.0 then you need both cables connected. If you are using usb 3.0 you just need the first one since a single usb 3.0 port can provide enough power for the keyboard.
  22. You know, for some reason this reminded me of the sixaxis controller for the ps3. It seemed like a good idea, but in practice no one would use it. At the end of the day, who whats to hold their mouse in the air just to play flight simulator?
