  1. Option 1 : Im not familiar with your router, but you should definitely change the SSID and password. Perhaps even disable SSID broadcast just in case. WPA2 encryption is fine so keep that. If you have an option to create a list of trusted devices using MAC addresses then do it, block everything but your own devices. Option 2: check your windows configuration for onedrive, shared setting across devices and windows updates. I had a similar problem were my router showed over 171 GB of uploaded data vs 15GB downloaded. Turns out win 10 synchronizes all your files and settings across devices without even asking. Windows updates also make your computer like a web server to upload updates to other users. http://www.howtogeek.com/224981/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-uploading-updates-to-other-pcs-over-the-internet/ http://www.howtogeek.com/249254/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-using-so-much-data/
  2. unless you were trying to overclock or something crazy I doubt it. CPUs will thermal throttle to prevent damage if they get too hot, sometimes they will shutdown even before post. Take the laptop to a repair shop or take it apart yourself, check the cpu, the thermal paste and the heatsink. If the air coming out of the fan is "too hot" for a cold boot then it could be some sort of hardware /cooling problem
  3. Sounds like someone found your wireless password, somehow. I highly doubt this is some kind of hardware or configuration issue.
  4. overheating perhaps or a hardware problem, you said you changed the ram recently. Make sure everything is connected properly (ram, hdd, expansion cards, etc)
  5. Or you could try an hdmi to vga adapter. They have been around for ages http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Big-Discount-Built-in-Chipset-HDMI-to-VGA-Adapter-Cable-Audio-Cable-Male-to-Fmale-For/2042960899.html?spm=2114.40010308.4.2.WhuUyn
  6. Im using the spec-03 red and tbh it is a decent case. The airflow is insane with 2 front fans. Keep in mind that this is a budget gaming case, so the dust filters are not the best. However, the build quality is good. The in win 703 seems to have less space than the corsair. You might run into issues if you decide to watercool your system.
  7. The Define has a clean look and some nice dust filters. The phanetks has that basement for the psu plus the led lighting. So I guess it depends which one you like the most. Feature wise, they are both very similar. Id would pick the Phanteks if I were you.
  8. CM MasterBox 5 NZXT s340 Phanteks Eclipse Series
  9. yeah, those temps are quite high even for an overclock. Make sure the cooler is installed properly, it should not move at all. Also, when was the last time you applied new thermal paste? even the best thermal paste will not be effective after a few years
  10. According to this article, yo need to connect both the molex power cable and the 4 pin cable in order to control de fans. Im thinking you only have the molex power connected
  11. unfortunately most full tower cases come with drive cages and such for obvious reasons. Have you seen the new evga cases? they seem like good option for watercooling http://www.evga.com/articles/01018/evga-dg-8-cases/
  12. There are a few SSD over 128GB in that price range, these two are fairly decent tho: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820211984 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820228142
  13. Depending on the load and content of the server, you might need lots of ram, a good multicore cpu and an SSD or Raid setup
  14. That one is OK if you want to manually control every fan manually, but I would recommend something like this https://www.nzxt.com/products/grid-plus-v2

  16. Pretty sure you can do better than that for $800. Skylake would be a better choice
  17. This is what i used for my ssd. Fast, free and easy to use. Since your ssd is smaller than the hdd, you should make the hdd partition the same size of the ssd BEFORE cloning the drive.
  18. I know, im using the same case for the top and bottom fans they should be sp because the dust filter really makes it hard to push air, but i guess you can get away with AF fans And the top fan should always be exhaust because heat rises .
  19. what people? they ARE supposed to be case fans. AF stands for Airflow so yeah. SP (static pressure) fans are used for radiators and tight spaces like behind a drive cage.
  20. At $50 this seems like your only option http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704206
  21. It should work, tp link website claims the drivers work on win vista/7/8/8.1
  22. it shouldnt take that much force to make it work. It does seems stiffer than the other switches but thats normal as far as i know
  23. This article was very helpful when i was choosing an ssd. TBH they all look pretty reliable nowadays http://techreport.com/review/27909/the-ssd-endurance-experiment-theyre-all-dead
  24. That pdf has not been updated in months. My memory doesn't appear on that list yet it works.
