yes they would. 2x gtx 1060 would beat a 1080 and they would be cheaper . just watch this many so called "experts" on these forums say nvidia removed sli because that feature should be reserved for high end graphics cards. WRONG! Nvidia is a business and they want to make money. If users sli their 1060s then they lose money because no one would buy the 1070 or 1080.

yes, some drives disable hibernation to prevent excessive/unnecessary wear on the drive. On Samsung magician it says that hibernation uses up to 75% of system memory size to create hyberfil.sys, so it is disabled by default just like the page file. Never heard about problems with sleep mode. Most ssd enable devSleep by deafult so it should be ok.

yeah I just tried this on 2 rush games and 2 conquest. I still get some drops but not as bad as before. Cpu usage dropped too, now i get 90% most of the time(for an i3 thats pretty good) . We can only hope DICE fixes this on the next patch. PS. I did set physx to gpu so maybe that helped too

battlefield 1 is cpu intensive, as long as you have a decent processor you can play high or ultra settings 1080p at 60 fps or more

the 1060 is more than enough for bf1, I was getting 40% usage on multiplayer. The cpu is a different story, you really need a 5th gen core i5 or above to play at decent settings.

running in dx11, i did not even bother with dx12. I will try running lower settings

I just played the first campaign mission and 1 round of conquest of BF1. After watching several videos on youtube I was confident I could run BF1 on ultra 1080p 60fps with my i3 6100...NOT I was getting 75~ fps in campaign, but online it drops to 45~ fps and sometimes 30 something. All cpu threads to 100% all the time(uber bottleneck I know). This game is very cpu intensive, even more than GTAV Im sure. Basically if you have a lower end or older cpu you are screwedOh well, I was going to get a 7700k anyway.

Your Gigabyte board should come with monitoring software. I dont think it would make a difference but its worth a shot.
