    You can start by reading this book. Thats the book we use in my computer architecture class. You do not need any advanced math other than converting numbers between binary, hex and decimal.

    overclocking with core2duos and core2quads was different. If I remember correctly the only thing you have to do( for locked chips anyway) is raise the fsb and disable any power settings such as speed step.     Im running my 1060 at 2100 MHz, I thought that was pretty normal for pascal cards

    try a different keyboard. Some newer, mechanical keyboards have problems accessing the bios

    you have to disable CPU C states in bios, also enable any charging setting if you have one

    set a custom fan curve on everything. If you really feel the airflow is bad then yes get a different case.

    Even if your ping was 10ms, you are playing a very demanding game through wifi. Any wireless network is half duplex, meaning you can only send or receive data but not both at the same time. switch to ethernet and you will see a HUGE improvement.

    well, they can easily generate usernames or use common combinations. Another thing is that skype apparently disabled the login attempt limit during the MS merge. So hackers can try unlimited number of passwords for any given username. A bot or script can do this in minutes of even less.

    I woke up this morning to find a security alert in my phone. The message was from Microsoft so I was worried to say the least. Long story short, my skype account was hacked and used to send spam( or phishing) urls to my contacts.     As far as I know the bug only applies to MSAA, so if you pick a different setting it should work fine.

    Also, overwatch is one of the least demanding games out there. Try playing GTAV or Battlefield 1 and you'll see some real world performance.

    Hi and welcome to the forum. the short answer is get the best card you can afford. For 144Hz a 1070 is the minimum, but I would get the 1080 just to be sure.

    Yes the turbo is basically a reference card. All blower coolers run a lot hotter. If you are in a tight budget get the asus dual of the zotac amp edition.

    Cloud 2 for sure. Cloud Revolver is budget friendly but overall less quality than cloud2.

    it is not a virus, bf1 is cpu intensive and poorly optimized despite what linus said in his video. So, I guess you are running the latest patch and the latest geforce drivers,right?(new drivers came out today). Have you tried the maxvariablefps mod?

    yes, you can do either one, but I like typing the full mask just in case

    you should be able to delete the wrong one by going to the interface and typing : R1(config-if)# no ipv6 address [wrong address] [mask]

    clean install your drivers and set your card to maximum performance in nvidia control panel

    This is NOT a driver, hardware or configuration issue of any kind. This is a bug within BF1. https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield/comments/58pm6y/bf1_can_we_have_a_visible_thread_about_cpu_usage/ You can try the maxvariable fps fix and setting the bf1 process to high priority. It helped me a bit. I hope DICE fixes this issue soon.
