OS not recognised on NVMe PCIe SSD

    Still no luck, unfortunately.

OS not recognised on NVMe PCIe SSD

Yes, it just says there is no OS installed. I also used this same tool a few days ago in another installation to a traditional SATA SSD so I don't believe the media tool is the cause.

OS not recognised on NVMe PCIe SSD

I'm aware of that, I did say I have a copy of W10 installed using the tool. Apologies, my wording seemed a little off. But yes, Windows 10 is installed correctly to the drive.
  4. Hi everyone, I'm having issues getting Windows 10 to be recognised by my ASRock H97 Performance motherboard. I've flashed the latest BIOS which added NVMe support so the drive itself is recognised by the mobo, but not the OS. If anyone has any idea why it thinks there is no OS installed, I'd love to hear it. It's a legitimate copy of W10 installed on the drive using the official media installer (installed via USB). I have also attached some images of my boot order/CSM settings for better clarity. The NVMe drive I am using is mounted onto my second PCIe lane via the Silverstone ECM20, doubt it's related, just so you all have a better idea of my setup. Thanks in advance

    First time mining

Unfortunately BTC is so, so much harder to get now compared to 2013/2014.

    290 and 390 same PCB?

Yeah, I was stopped when the card BIOS button got in the way. Didn't want to saw part of the cooler bracket off (wouldn't have affected anything) so I just reapplied the thermal paste and now the VRMs are running around 70-80C as opposed to 105C which is great.

    290 and 390 same PCB?

Awesome. I'd like the backplate to remain on the card so let's hope the screws can reach it.

    290 and 390 same PCB?

Hey folks, I was wondering whether or not the Sapphire 290 (w/ stock cooler) and the Sapphire 390 Nitro (3rd party cooler) had the same PCB? I am after a second opinion as I don't wish to take the cooler off my 390 if I didn't end up needing to. I am considering throwing my Corsair HG10 onto the 390 if it can fit as the cooling performance was great on the 290 using it. Thermaltake View 28

Thanks for the opinions I am fully committed to neat window interiors so that is a major factor. The airflow is my only concern, however. There isn't a lot of content/reviews on this case so finding people who have experience with it is hard to come by - guess I'll be the few!

    Thermaltake View 28

Hey folks, looking few a new cheap case as my old one is screwed. Was wondering what everyone thought about the Thermaltake View 28? I am aware Tt do not have the best reputation when it comes to quality and originality but I'm willing to give them a chance. https://www.pccasegear.com/products/38243/thermaltake-view-28-rgb-window-atx-mid-tower-chassis

    Update mb drivers through usb

I believe you load the BIOS update onto a USB and then select the update option from your UEFI and navigate to the update directory. I've never done this before so I'm not entirely sure.

    OBS

Yes, it does work on laptops. Results may vary depending on the age of your hardware.
