Then you want a case that supports ATX motherboards. You can get midtowers or full towers. Full towers offer the best compatibility, but are fairly large.

Is Enhanced Sync turned on? If so, make sure it is turned off -- there have been a lot of issues with that lately on the 5700 [XT] cards and could be related if the 480 is affected also.

What size is your motherboard? An ATX midtower case will fit any mobo size and will most likely also fit your GPU, but you haven't give us any specific info.

If you are talking about an external HDD, the games will still be there. If you are talking about Steam games, use the backup tool to make your life a lot easier.

You'd be aiming for something with good external antennas. Dual band is also a must. I have a ASUS PCE-AC68 and it performs exactly the same as my wired connection.

When you mention "newer driver", is that the latest or an older version?

System looks great! Q1: There isn't a whole lot of difference between most coolers if they are decent quality. The PCCG Red Devil cards aren't the special edition, either. I personally got the cheapest 5700 XT (XFX RAW II) and it is almost the exact same in terms of temperature and performance. Q2: Don't really have enough knowledge in that area to help with that. Q3: Honestly Windows 10 is stable enough now that I recommend upgrading. A new PC would be a great time to do so. Q4: I personally find Samsung SSDs to be the most reliable. The data on my PC is more valuable to me than upgrading a GPU, but it's totally up to you -- can't really go wrong! Side note: I've never used PC Part Picker, but it may be cheaper if you get all the parts from the same site (shipping). I use PCCG and they also offer a building service where they'll build the system for you.

Personally I would go with the Gigabyte card. The MSI cooler doesn't look particularly effective, and if what 5x5 said is true, definitely avoid it.

If this is only happening in your games, it may be a driver issue with your GPU. Install DDU to completely remove any trace of your GPU drivers from the system, then reinstall the latest drivers for it.

If Sapphire make a Nitro version, I'd recommend that. Their Nitro coolers have always been brilliant.

Sapphire make very good cards with fantastic coolers. They are the EVGA equivalent of Nvidia GPUs, but of course that is subjective. GPUs are typically a long term thing, so I would recommend waiting.
