X and Y are never enough. We should always strive for more and better. People on a tech forum should know this. If you're against progression then the tech field is not something for you.

Almost everything is region-free. Games and hardware. They all boot the same way, so you can choose what language you want at the beginning - just as you can change North American Vita to Japanese or Chinese, for instance. That said, if you don't have a Japanese or East Asian SEN account, you cannot purchase those games from the on-line store. But card-based games will work, nonetheless. Some included Apps may be in another language, which you can delete and get the North American version from the PSN. You can get a digital version of Technika Tune from the PSN for $45. If you play North American games from the PSN and Japanese games via cards, you shouldn't have a problem (you can play North American games via card too).
 
That said, as I have not seen it being used in North America, the PSN Store on a Japanese Vita may be tied to the Japanese store. But the region store that appears is tied to your SEN account, so it shouldn't - however, I sense it is. I highly doubt you can play Japanese games on a Vita that primarily has North American games even if you have a Japanese account, though I could be wrong and this could be a thing.

Looks fucking awesome, I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat, will be keeping an eye on this kickstarter.

GO Launcher is horrible, get rid of it. The entire GO Lineup just are giant resource hogs and drag your phone down with crap,
 
CyanogenMod is here provide the smoothest and most stable pure android experience, no Touchwiz, no Sense 5, just straight up Android 4.x that you would get on any Nexus device, this makes CM extremely fast compared to..probably any phone running a GO utility. lol.
