I removed my hard drive from my old computer and I am reusing for another build which I am about to get to work on. I was planning to wipe it and reinstall Windows on my new SSD, but I forgot to wipe my hdd. I have another computer handy. how can I wipe my HDD?
So, I'm building a new computer, Starting fresh and not moving anything from my old one on. But will I need to buy another windows key? How can I use my current one if I can?
Okay, I think the next steps for me then would be the Gammaxx 400 and the CXM 750W PSU? Will it be fine with what I have right now until i get those parts?
I'm planning to use a (new) ssd as a boot drive so i should just wipe the hdd and install windows on the ssd? Then transfer files and whatnot using an external hard drive?
So, i've bought some new parts and i'm only planning to take the RAM, PSU, and HDD from my current build and put it into my new one. Am I going to run into trouble by using my old hard drive with stuff on it? Or will I have to wipe it.
