  1. Hello! I am deciding between these two laptops and my main concern with this Acer Nitro is the panel response time. From this site https://www.ultrabookreview.com/27664-acer-nitro-5-review-an517-51/ they claim that this Acer uses a panel nearly good as the Lenovo's panel Chi Mei CMN175C (N173HCE-G33) which is around 10ms range. but then on another review site https://www.notebookcheck.net/Acer-Aspire-Nitro-5-Laptop-Review-A-gaming-laptop-with-decent-battery-life.431215.0.html it says that the panel is super slow. The prices of these laptops where I am buying them from are the same, but Acer has i7 9750h compared to Lenovo's i5 9300h, but since I play CS and other fast pace games I really want fast response time screen! So the question is: is there a big enough difference with the reponse times of the screens that I would go for the Lenovo y540 for its known good reponse time?
  2. Yea I noticed that! Wanted to be sure of the boost clock! But thanks for the information of what the F stands for!
  3. Hello I am looking at a laptop for my friend and I found out that there's a updated laptop line up coming from Lenovo Y540. The difference that I found were only 8gb more ram and that the processor changes from i5 9300h to 9300hf. I did some fast research and Intel's page says they are identical expect the igpu and then second-hand website noted that the difference is that 9300h has turbo on one core 4.1ghz and 3.4ghz on multi core boost and 9300hf has no single core boost, but multicore boost of 4.1ghz. So all in all my question is what is the difference between these two cpu's or is there anything noticable?
  4. I'm going to do multi-camera setup which requires at the moment at least 2 x4 lanes (yes I know I can divide x8/x8 and so on). BUT I want future proof when 4K streaming becomes more available. Also i'm probably going to RAID NVME in the future.
  5. Ryzen 1700's only problem for my build will be the lack of PCI-e lanes, so that's why I was leaning towards these two.
  6. I haven't seen any good benchmarks between these two so I was wondering which one is better to buy? I'm going to make a new editing/streaming PC and in my country the build difference is only 300 euros.
  7. Hello I'm moving to U.S.A in a week and I need new gaming build. Budget is 500 dollars, I'm probably going to buy RX 480 as a new gpu and I was thinking to buy used parts. I was wondering what cpu would be good enough to handle the gpu. I'm going to overclock the cpu.
  8. Thank you for the fast reply. Do you know how much better 940m performs compared to 920m?
  9. Hello! I was wondering if it's a good deal to buy Acer Aspire E5-573G for 399e? The price is normally 599e here in Finland. My price range is 300-400e. The twist here is that I'm moving to U.S.A this August and I was wondering that will I get a better deal from the states. I know that black friday has good deals, but will I get laptop that can run games like Cs GO and League of Legends 60fps in my price range before that?
