  1. I'll sell them to you Yeah I saw it pretty sick
  2. My current PC is pushing 2 years old and I have started to plan and imagine what I would want to do. I want to build a m-Atx X99 water cooled system. My current PC is a 4790K Dual 970 sli Atx buid : I've always wanted a small form factor system because my friend has one and I fell in love with it. I really only game on my PC right now but my other passion is photography and I feel like content creation could be right up my ally. Right now I am running dual 1440p 60hz monitors. I plan to be running one 1440p 144hz in the future when I am satisfied with one that comes out. I really miss expressing the creative side of me so a second 4k/1440p will be a consideration. Two monitors is all I need but having a external TV hooked up for streams would be nice. I know I want to go for Sli and X99 with a mAtx board. I am unsure whether the current 6 core CPU's are worth it in the long run right now. Probably going to wait and see what intel brings out over the next year. Same goes for the GPU's. I'm upgrading my 2 hard drives to a 500gb ssd pretty soon and my current storage will last me for many computer builds I hope. Expecting my two WD green's not to last much longer but other than that I am not sure when I would have problems with the rest of the build. I guest after two years the longevity of the build is up to my jurisdiction. Case is undecided. All suggestions welcome. I favor different and innovative designs (I love my FT02 but its huge lol). Thanks for readying!
  3. Yeah with the whole light lime and gold theme, adding clear acrylic to the color pallet really draws attention to the res. Small black M4/3's would be subtle enoguh not to draw attention but the silver and gold honestly clashes way to hard for me. Light lime fluid would counter it well but it would still stand out a bit.
  4. Why so much emphasis on the res screws? Interesting look
  5. WASD V2 w/ Cherry MX Clears Logitech G502 AKG K712 Pro Zowie G-SR large
  6. Amazing build so far man. Your color scheme is 100%. Everything I want In a build some day
  7. To be honest I'm really not sure. I think its just a bad combination of high actuation force + lowered travel distance of the rings. Never the less the clears are a bit to heavy for what I do on my computer. They feel really good and responsive for typing but they are annoying for gaming because of that little bit of extra time it takes to fully press a key in a twitch game. I'm used to it now but its something that pops up every now and then at random. Leaning more towards not liking the tactile bump. Need to start researching switches again to get a better mindset. Really wish the Nova touch came in a full size layout. Got any other ideas of keyboard brands? Also what do you use
  8. I don't know if I like the tactile bump 100% really. I've used mushy membrane keys from school and work my entire life up to about 3 years ago. So maybe I'm just trying too much to compare it to that in my mind. This is one of the reasons why I think the Nova touch would be a good option for me. I'm looking for something responsive with a well constructed feeling. Also with a middle ground between browns and clears for the actuation force.
  9. Please feel free to educate me about anything I am overlooking. I only know enough about key switches from what I currently own and from popular reviews.
  10. Let me re-phrase this. I have used Browns a lot and they are nothing special. I don't want to own another Brown switch board again when there are so many other options. I have never tried Blues but I can already tell you they wont be my style based on my research. My understanding of blacks is that they feel like reds but have a much heavier actuation force. I like the clears but they feel "over the top" on force and feeling. Never tried greens. Also Forgot to mention that I have .4mm o rings on my Clears as well.
  11. Hello LTTF! I've had some questionable performances with my current keyboard and I am not sure which switch/keyboard brand to try next. I am currently using a WASD V2 with Cherry MX Clears and a set of MaxKeyboards PBT frontside printed keycaps on it. This is my first PBT experience and I love how they feel hands down compared to ABS. I used to use a default Logitech G710+ for a while but I didn't like the build quality of the caps and the board itself. When I was deciding what keyboard to buy It was either the WASD Clears or the CM NovaTouch. I figured the Cherries would be good to stick too rather than the electrostatic. That being said the NovaTouch still interests me. So here's the jist; I hated the typing experience of the G710+ Browns and so far the Clears are better but still not admirable. With the clears I like typing on them but they feel almost too sturdy. I am a typer that tends to bottom out my keys but sometimes I don't and its annoying when they don't register. This is less of an issue with typing and only really applies in games. So I am not interested in blues or browns I believe unless someone can prove me wrong. I am interested in maybe greens, blacks, or reds from Cherry. With that in mind I would love to see if I would like typing on other brands like CM's novatouch switches etc. So let me know what you guys think and thank you for reading!
  12. On the Graphic design note Do Not get a ultrawide because they distort the image of your work. I do autocad and its impossible to use them. I run duall 1440p monitors right now. Personally I am waiting for Color accurate 1440p 144hz 16:9 to become more available. Idk what you have now but 1440p is amazing on its own. 4K suits the more single monitor minded people.
  13. Headphones - Nothing special. If you like the sound, great. Just make sure they are comfortable for you to wear for 4+ hours minimum. Just be weary that as soon as you try on a more enthusiast set of cans you will get a little jealous. Microphone - Any mic is good enough unless its a headset mic. Speakers - Personally I have been using the M-Audio AV40's for the past 5 years since I bought them. $130ish on amazon right now and I would really recommend them for you later own the line. I can't stand the audio products logitech makes.
  14. First of all just wanna say PSU noob kinda here! I bought a Silverstone 1000W gold strider back in 2014 when I built my first system. I have NEVER had any troubles with it ever since. I was just wondering how well it would age in future systems. I intend to start a new system probably in the next two/three years. Basically would I need to replace it for the next build I make? Its been running my haswell 4790k and dual 970's ever since 4790k released.
  15. since he lives in a "converted attic" type floor it gets super hot in every season except for the winter. I've lived in one before and Im sure that's the reason for the noctuas. They aren't ugly, they are a style
  16. Is that a custom made desk? I love it
  17. For the past week whenever I watch twitch streams after the first 15 mins or so the stream freezes with a buffering icon. This happens with every streamer I watch. The stream stops out of no where and it won't continue from the buffering icon until I refresh the page. After that everything is good until it happens again after a random amount of time. I opened a new tab directly after it froze and the site still loaded. So whether or not that eliminates the possibility of a network throttle/hiccup I do not know. I watch all my streams on source because I can (29 mbs down, 27 mbs up, 17 ping). If anyone has any ideas at all then that would be great.
  18. Yeah I just ordered mine last night. Been using the Q701's for about two years now and have fallen in love with the sound signature of AKG
  19. All addition positive input only adds to my urge to buy it right now... which I will. Thank you
  20. Why are the K712's so cheap ($292) on amazon right now? thinking about picking one up.
  21. K7xx's are on massdrop for $199....... temptations

I want to replace my m50s, because I think they…

I dont see the point in having super high end headphones and mid range headphones at the same time

well if you like them them don't waste your money on a new headphone. IEM's are the best for mobile use and headphones just get in the way
