    Seems a bit strange, larger die more transistors lower clocks on the memory and core but more rtx-ops and better fp32 and fp64 performance and lower power consumption, is the performance boast over the tu106 core rtx 2070 all in the quadro drivers Edit : so it looks like it's a cut down tu104 core (die size and transistor count is the same as tu104)

    If you suspect it's the ssd install windows and games to a mechanical hard disk and see if it still happens this should not reduce game performance just loading times

    Looks stable only thing I can think of is checking windows is clean of malware or any unwanted software or possibly trying a fresh install of windows but that's a last resort

    I'd suggest upgrade the base system first so cpu motherboard and ram then upgrade you gpu after it's a bad time to buy a gpu with current prices and Vega from amd and possibly volta from nvidia just around the corner, but that is just my personal opinion I always build I'm stages so I'll either do a base system upgrade or a gpu upgrade depending on which I feel with give me the biggest performance boost

    If budget isn't a problem get a z270 motherboard and i5 7600k and a decent cooler to overlook a bit and to game at 144hz you may need a higher end gpu depending on resolution and graphics settings

    Your fx-6300 should be ok with the 1050ti but You could probably pick up a cheap fx-8xxx series chip if you don't want to change your motherboard and ram other wise a kabylake lake pentium with a lga 1151 motherboard and ddr4 would be a good shout for 1050ti a kabylake lake i5 would be. Better if you can afford it
