  1. Okay, after doing a bit of research on the subject, I have come to the conclusion that you NEED to figure out what model you're going to get if you want to avoid any disappointment, though there shouldn't be room for much. I'd rule out the MacBook if you don't want it or are particularly worried about build quality. If you're going to get the cheapest model available, I don't think it's worth it, but it's still an okay choice. If a RDE is a viable option for you, I'd opt for that instead. EDIT : Forget it, saw your most recent post. Get it. I5 if you can, which should be a given.
  2. The newer MacBook Pros have pretty decent battery life. The ThinkPad keyboards have always been nice, that isn't news. The build quality is pretty great, and it feels okay. Yet it's got Windows on it... Which, depending on what software OP is planning on using, could be really shitty if the software is universal.
  3. Actually, I don't understand... Why do you think this? The keyboards on ThinkPads are always nice, and the build quality/durability is okay... But, really? Have you owned this product before?
  4. Actually, better question to add on to what I said about a MacBook? Are you getting some crazy discount or a cheaper model?
  5. Why aren't you going to go for a MacBook? It'll serve you better for what you're trying to do. Those cheaper Windows alternatives are really inconvenient.
  6. Any specific reason you're going for Lenovo? To answer your question, I'd opt for the more expensive laptop if you don't have a fast enough connection to handle a RDE without issues. Integrated graphics should serve you fine until you start working with bigger models, which will cause a bit of an inconvenience. I would most certainly look for a laptop with a dGPU... Even if it is a bit more expensive.
  7. I'd like to stay between $50 and $100, but up to $150 is fine. I would most certainly prefer over-ear headphones.
  8. The title pretty much says it all. I'm working with a pair of Sennheiser HD 439s right now, and while I do think they are quite comfortable, they aren't the best choice for sitting around while it's hot in the room. I don't have the best air conditioning either, so that isn't a probable solution. I want a new pair of headphones that is comfortable, high quality in both build and audio, and okay to wear for a while in a hot room. I am aware that there are different padding materials used in the production of headphones. After I take in any recommendations (assuming anybody cares about the topic in the end), I want to look at headphones on my own before making a decision. What would be the go-to material for my situation?
  9. GTX 950... It sux, that's why I want a 480.
  10. Only sometimes. That is, until I go bake some Snickerdoodles and get fat. I also tend to, you know, hang out with friends when I'm not busy gaining weight. Hobbies help as well, especially instruments!
  11. The Witcher 3 has a slow, clunky mass of a combat system. qq
  12. Is this supposed to be super impressive? AFAIK several Souls veterans have done this several times.
  13. There are over 1,184 events logged... I don't know where to start looking. Temps are fine, I don't get blue screens, have absolutely no clue what's going on.
  14. This has happened a few times now. I do not know if it happens in other games because I do not play other games nearly as much as League of Legends. Anyways, what's happening is that at random moments my PC completely freezes, but outputs a very high pitched, high frequency screeching/squeaking sound that doesn't stop until I turn off the computer. Does anybody else have an idea of what component might be causing this issue, or is it just an issue with Windows 10? i3-6100 ASUS Z170-A Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000MHz 2x8GB GTX 950
