  1. I don't actually have a keyboard, as I use a laptop. I am currently in the processes of finalizing the purchase of the parts for my first 'good' PC. Getting a keyboard for free would be great at offsetting the cost a bit, and it would be awesome to have a nice keyboard that I would not have had the money to purchase in the first place.
  2. Thanks for the help! Looks like I'll being going with the 480 and sticking with the i5-6500. I hope that I can get my hands on one, as it seems that the new Nvidia GPU's are selling out pretty quick. If the 480 is as good as I've heard, then I don't think it will be the easiest task to pick one up...
  3. Would I be able to get away with an i3-6100 and 480 combo? Or would that bottleneck it too much?
  4. Hello everyone, This is my first post on the forums so I hope I address everything that needs to be addressed. I am looking to build a PC specifically for light to moderate gaming (I say that only because this won't be my primary form of gaming so I'm not looking for crazy, over-the-top performance), internet browsing, and general productivity. My main goal is to play most games at 1080p, 60FPS. I have been lurking around on this form, as well as multiple PC subreddits to gather as much info I could before making a purchase. Here is what I have come down to as my future PC build. My budget for everything (Literally everything; PC, monitor, mouse, keyboard, etc...) is $1000-$1100USD. I went with the the fully modular power supply to possible incorporate white cables into the build. As for the choice of CPU cooler; I'm not looking to necessarily overclock (although I am not eliminating the possibility altogether). I'm also not looking for the best performance either. This was more of an aesthetic choice rather than a performance choice. I know that it will provide slightly better performance as opposed to the stock cooler, but I also understand that there are probably better coolers at there at this price point. This is a piece I would rather stick with, unless of course you can convince me otherwise. Also, the Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV is another key point in the build, as this is the case I really want to stick with. Other than those two parts, there is really nothing that I specifically want in this build. As long as it remains a white, mini ITX form factor build, I should be happy. In other notes, I don't have a mouse in this build as that is something I already own. Also, I can get HDDs for free so I put that in at $0 So here are my questions: Is the i5-6500 and GTX 960 4GB combo enough for 1080p 60fps? Would I be able to downgrade to an i3-6100 to save some money without it bottle-necking the GPU? If I could downgrade to an i3, would I be able to upgrade the GPU to something a little bit better without bottle-necking issues? Finally, and most importantly, is there anything in this build that I should change? Thanks for your help!
