  1. I need help finding an 80 x 30cm mousemat that can fit my desk. As of late I've had some difficulty finding one, any of your efforts would be appreciated!
  2. Yeah, I have a dead stick. I tried the 'bad' stick in the good DIMM slot but it didn't boot. I tried the 'good' RAM in the DIMM slot that the 'bad' stick was plugged into and it booted. So yeah I have a bad stick.
  3. It works with the GPU plugged in but not with both sticks of RAM (haven't tried plugging back in the HDD) How would I make it work with both sticks? EDIT : With only one stick of RAM, the GPU plugged in, and the HDD plugged in it booted to Windows, I now need help to set up RAM in dual channel.
  4. Okay I'll go ahead and do that. EDIT : With the Hard drive un-plugged, GPU removed, and one stick of RAM it booted. What should I do now?
  5. Okay, I'll try that thanks for the suggestion Edit : Nope no difference
  6. Specs : CPU : i3 6100 GPU : EVGA GTX 950 SC+ PSU : Cooler Master G550M (550W) MOBO : ASUS B150M-C D3 RAM : Corsair Vengeance DDR3 (2x4GB) HDD : WD Caviar Blue 1TB (CASE : Fractal Core 1100) (OS : Windows 10 64bit (Without licence)) So I built my PC on Christmas and it was working fine until when I tried turning it on this morning. I then decided that I would open it up and try and see if anything was wrong. With the side panel off I pressed the power button and the power led on my case lit up. The fan on my stock cooler and on my gpu spun up and when I touched the outside of my hard drive I could feel it spinning. Although I am a novice at PC building from my perspective I thought that was good. The only weird thing I found was that the hard drive LED wasn't on. I also tried taking out my taking out my graphics card and trying plugging in the HDMI cable into my Motherboard. That showed no new results. The only solutions I can think of is resetting the CMOS and trying to boot after that, or that my brand new hard drive is dead because of the LED. Any other ideas? I believe that all drivers are up to date except for my BIOS I can't remember if I download that. If you need any more information I'll answer question in the comments.
  7. I want it! I currently have a rig with a 950, I haven't gotten up to buying an Polaris GPU because of the shitty canadian dollar making the RX 480 (as an example) a 260-320$ card instead of it being 200-250$ USD
  8. STRMfrmXMN, that case is even longer in depth than the core 1100, I already checked.
  9. I'm looking for a micro ATX case that is below $60 CAD for my custom PC build. It would be amazing if someone could help me find one that can fit inside these dimensions (measurements in inches) >15x>9x>15 (H*W*D). I currently plan to get the Fractal Design core 1100, it MOSTLY fits within my dimension by it being an inch to deep.
  10. I am using a old membrane keyboard that I've been using for over 2 years almost every day of the week, I would love an upgrade! I haven't had the chance to try a good mechanical keyboard many times before and when I have it was amazing. My keyboard's keys are barely distinguishable and not to mention my D and arrow keys have decided to break and migrate to the trash. I'm very lucky that I picked up touch typing before you couldn't even tell which key is which. I wish the best of luck to everyone and I thank LinusTechTips and Tesoro for the giveaway! P.S. Sorry for no photos, the only camera I have is the one on my laptop webcam, and quite frankly you can't really take a picture of the keyboard like that.
  11. I want a new keyboard, I've been using this membrane keyboard on my laptop for 2 years now. The letters are indistinguishable and my 'D' key fell off, and trust me it's very difficult to play PC games like that. If I got a mechanical keyboard for a change I would love it; not only because i'd be able to play games again comfortably but I would be able to have a keyboard that has the amazing tactile feedback that I've only had the chance of trying maybe once or twice.Good luck to everyone! Thanks for the giveaway Linus Tech Tips and Tesoro!
