  1. Hi guys, I'm trying to find that one video LTT did which was like a mini-film. Max was in the woods staring up at the sky and i think Linus was camping in the forest with his family. Really appreciate it if someone could link me. Thanks!
  2. Thank you. Will do. I've scavenged and crawled through the depths of the interwebz. Haven't been able to find anything.
  3. Thank you. Unfortunately no change. I guess I'm F U K T, FUKT. =(
  4. Absolutely the case for me too, bud. Wouldn't have bought a laptop otherwise. I wanted to game on the go. =/
  5. unfortunately, I only see adjust image settings with preview, manage 3d settings and configure surround physx. No battery settings or sliders in any of em. =/

  7. I can understand that. But surely there is a way to clock the mem higher than 800? It's just absolutely tanking fps. I've tried ocing the mem on battery in afterburner but it does nothing.
  8. Thanks, bro. I've already tried this before. In fact I've tried high performance and still no dice.
  9. Hi all, I have an MSI GS63VR 7RF (stealth pro). It's equipped with an i7 7700HQ and a GTX 1060 6gb. Gaming performance when plugged in is great. Gaming performance on battery cuts down to about a third. Fired up MSI after burner and realised this was because the GPU mem clocks down from 4000mhz to 800mhz. Core clocks remain at 1800mhz. CPU clocks also remain high. The GPU mem down clock doesn't make any sense to me. Cant seem to find an option for it in any of the MSIs apps, GFE, or the NVIDIA control panel. Any ideas? Downclocking to 800 whilst maintaining GPU core clocks and CPU clocks seems an absurdly stupid way to save battery. I've also fiddled with Windows power options. no dice. Will give 10 kisses to any one that can help me. Thank you very much in advance.
  10. Yes. I have an ASUS PG348Q (3440x1440) flanked by an Acer XB271HU (2560x1440) and it works flawlessly
  11. Thanks mate. Is it gonna be a paper launch, or a proper launch? Or is that one of them uber secret Vega mysteries as well?
  12. When exactly is this stupid thing launching?
  13. Would love to know too, bevause I've got 598s and I've been contemplating buying 650s for a while now
  14. How do these compare against the 598s and the 650s?
  15. What do you mean? There aren't any special features on the RVZ03 that would, in my opinion, particularly resonate with the Asian market.
  16. I've lived in HK my whole life and I've never understood how computer component availability works over here. Walked around the computer center and there were RVZ03s on sale everywhere. I don't think Silverstone is a HK brand? Zotac and Inno3d are HK brands yet Zotac cards tend to only be available way after their Taiwanese and North American counterparts.
  17. OP I'm not trying to be offensive or sarcastic, but if you cant tell the difference between those two setups, it may be time to save some money by buying a console.
  18. The fact that AMD tried to keep the public excited by announcing the FE over the gaming variant, is, in my opinion, highly indicative that gaming Vega won't be here anytime soon.
  19. @NumLock21 Thanks for that. Have you had any experience with Computex? I want to check everything out so I'm concerned that half a day may not be enough. @LoGiCalDrm Unfortunately "International visitor" in this case is a poor translation of "Industry professional outside Taiwan". Is there a way to get hooked up with a media pass?
  20. Hi all, I've wanted to go to Computex for several years now. Unfortunately - it seems to be open for public admission only on June 3 . The rest of the exhibition (May 30 - June 2) is open only to "International Visitors", "Investors", "IPOs in Taiwan", "Professionals (TW)" and "Media. Anyone know how I can qualify as any of the above? Would really appreciate any feedback. Thank you. 21. IDK what my CPU usage is, but my 4790k @ 4.5 and GTX 1080 runs this game at ULTRA 3440x1440 locked at 100fps
  22. I never used to notice screen tearing. It never bothered me the slightest. Having upgraded to a PG348Q for half a year now, i definitely notice screen tear when i use someone else's PC. That said, screen tearing still doesnt bother me. Bottom line - GSYNC isnt worth $200. Especially not once you start hitting 100+ hz. At 144hz screen tearing is pretty much unnoticeable unless you go looking for it.
  23. The funny thing is, all Note 7s sold in Hong Kong (and China and Macau) were completely unaffected. Something about the battery provider being different. win!!!
