  1. seems weird... try reinstalling your audio drivers. if it doesn't work, maybe try the same speakers with another computer and see if you have the same problems. if not, try using another jack (front audio for example). if nothing worked, try reinstalling your video drivers, and maybe the programs that have the delay. sorry i can't help you more
  2. you can try to use DDU (display driver uninstaller) like Acid Panda said and do a fresh install (download the new drivers directly from nvidia website, don't let Windows update install the driver) also, check in windows performance settings, nvidia control panel and Geforce experience (if it's installed) if everything is on max performance
  3. do it, just be sure you don't have drives in RAID trough the BIOS/motherboard.
  4. what is your audio setup? do you have headphones, speakers? Bluetooth or wired?
  5. what is your computer/graphics card? if it's a laptop some power saving option might have been turned on by the update
  6. if you have another desktop, just unplug your normal drives (to not mess with your boot manager) and plug the boot drive for the new computer, then install windows on that drive normally. It will install windows and the boot manager on the drive, which means that if your new computer still does not boot after that you probably have a faulty motherboard or CPU (and as you RMAed a board already, the CPU might be the culprit)
  7. might be a stupid solution but have you tried installing windows from another computer? it worked for me for a laptop i repared. also once a computer refused to install windows because front USB was plugged in, might be something stupid like that.
  8. some motherboard disable the IGPU if a graphic card is plugged in. in most BIOS you can turn it on, depends on the brand of the motherboard
  9. exept for the screen, keyboard and mouse, you got everything. a case would be good, but you can salvage an old one prety easily if your are really tight on money. however, be sure to buy components with a good upgrade path, because if you go with something too old or too cheap you won't be able to upgrade.
  10. hi! for me, your build is unbalanced. except if look is more important than performance to you. a 100$ case lay be prettier than a 40$ or less one, but with a 40$ one you could afford a 1060. also you could get a bronze power supply, to have an even better graphic card, or a better ssd (128GB SSD might be just too small for me). anyway, good luck with your build!
  11. I currently have a roccat isku fx keyboard and a roccat savu mouse. I don't have gaming headset
  12. how did linus find a onecable that long? mine is so short that i had to change my plans for my tv setup I can't find a longer one online
  13. i currently use a R9 290X from sapphire. it works well, but i want to buy an HTC vive but don't have enought money to change the graphic card AND buy a vive
