It's got a beefy heatsink, it should handle your cpu easily.

    When overclocking, stay below 4.4Ghz.

The Corsair RM650x would be the better choice when it comes to performance and quality. It also has the longer 10 year warranty as opposed to the 5 years of the Cooler Master.

Its a hyper-threaded dual core vs a non-hyper threaded dual core. Unless you plan on playing nothing but esports( dota, league,cs). You are going to have a bad time with the g4400.

antisleep reacted to Imglidinhere in Should i build this for gaming?
It's a CPU that was released back in 2012. The single core performance is super lackluster in most games. It's arguably half what a single core's performance from any Intel CPU is these days. Furthermore, you lack certain features that all current gen intel motherboards have. USB type-C, PCIe Gen 3.0, etc. Hell, the second of the two is more of a shocking thing than the Type-C port, given that AMD's motherboards cannot even measure up to their own damned GPUs!

    Zen will change this though.

At that price? Aerocool Aero 1000 by far. I got to take a close look at the case itself at a local store and I won't even think twice picking it over any corsair carbide case - 300R/200R/100R.

Most of those saying go with Corsair are from North America where Aero-1000 prices aren't competitive (@$80-100 USD) but other parts of the world it's a lot better value at <60 £/€/$.

    For £51? It's a steal:
    +nice aesthetics
    +3 case fans included
+2x USB 3.0 front I/O with support for USB 2.0
    +rubber grommets
    +plenty of storage space
    +modular HDD cage
+complete dust filters: top(magnetic), front(filter and plastic mesh cover) and bottom are all removable
+tall case feet, though plastic still a plus
-space behind motherboard tray could be wider but not a nightmare to deal with

Other issues like build quality, having plastic front panel, non tinted window, etc are negligible at this price point.

The cheaper one has higher frequency @ 2666Mhz vs the 2400 in your list. Your H170 will downclock the speed to to 2133Mhz anyway but in case in the future when you need to sell it to upgrade to DDR5 you get more value.

    Just get it.

Around 10-15%, the only reason to a buy a 960 right now is if you can get one for ~$150-160. If you want significant performance differences go with an RX 470 w/c has better cost per frame for $190-200.
