  1. Anywho, I think I'll look a little more into Energycore's linked build. Thanks guys!
  2. That $9 Hard drive sounds like a god send, but it's not. It's only for parts lol
  3. Yes, I already have a budget PC built and am planning on building another one with the parts I listen in the original thread - The problem is some of the parts on my CURRENT PC are too expensive, so I'm looking for other alternatives On my CURRENT pc I'm using the same CPU and ram sticks as I listed above ^ - Graphics/PSU/Memory are different I hope I'm explaining myself well lol
  4. I'm actually using that same CPU on the computer I'm using right now and it's working fine, the only problems I find are when I'm streaming games (and I rarely do that anyways) - Any reason why I should change it?
  5. I'm working on a "homeless" budget PC (It's just a name) build and need help. The budget is between 300-350, and should be able to run games like Overwatch/League of Legends at a steady 60 FPS (Currently using a $300 budget PC running League at 120, which is nice) - The problem is that I'm having trouble finding any cheap parts at all, at least any that'll be of any use: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZYsVLD ^ Current build - Case: https://www.amazon.com/Rosewill-Micro-ATX-Computer-12-5-Inch-LINE-M/dp/B00AAJ0ZGK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1484100795&sr=8-2&keywords=Rosewill+Micro+ATX+Mini+Tower Graphics: https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Radeon-Windforce-Graphics-GV-RX460WF2OC-4GD/dp/B01K1JVCRE Memory: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00J8E92X0/?tag=pcpapi-20 - ^ ^ (I already have 4 sticks of these so I'm not factoring them into the final price, and yes the motherboard can only take 2 - I know) ^ ^ Hard Drive: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0088PUEPK/?tag=pcpapi-20 PSU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00H33SFJU/?tag=pcpapi-20 CPU: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KPRWAZQ/?tag=pcpapi-20 Is there anything I can improve? Anything cheaper? Etc - Help is greatly appreciated
  6. $400 budget PC made for gaming and streaming, a better graphics card than the tiny one I have would be nice. [Obligatory "gibe me now!"]
  7. Reminds me of the guys that were playing "Trailer Park Boys" onto a water tower, boy would they have fun with this, so that's one special use for this. lol
  8. My computer uses DVI because that's the only output my graphics card has, and my monitor itself has 2 slots, 1 for VGA and 1 for DVI (The DVI is obviously being used atm), I live in Florida.
  9. Wondering what cable I should use to connect my Xbox 360 to my PC Monitor. The monitor has input select. So I can choose between my PC and my Xbox and whatnot, an HDMI to VGA cable should work, I think; I ask for help anyways just to make sure. Could anyone link me one under $15?
  10. I'm using a $30 pretend backlit gaming keyboard with hard to program macro keys, a breathe function for the lights that literally seems to lag and a nice little f-Ing dial to turn down the brightness. I want this keyboard because yesterday was the last day that I could return this over-hyped flashlight with keys and I want to throw this new one on top of it and make sweet mechanical tactile love when I type about no scoping kids online.
  11. I'll see if I can fix my No-Post problem first and if that doesn't work I'll buy this table top tin can and tinker with it then, thanks! Still looking for other suggestions if anyone has any!
  12. Something I forgot to say as well, probably something I really should have said sooner. It all turns on, fans start their "vroom vroom cooling time", lights go "zipzap lighty light light" and the pc decides to not post. Then after 4-5 minutes it all shuts down and seemingly restarts. My motherboard also came with a CD to install its drivers, but I assume that doesn't matter if the PC doesn't even post?
  13. @Almighty_Spoon 1. I sure hope so. Yes. It is. lol 2. Yes. 3. Yes. 4. Yes, 5. Yes, one of the first things I did. 6. No, I hate the sun. and yes, I tried everything again 3 days later.
  14. The case looks like you punched an ATX plastic case with a slab of stainless steel. Do you think I could pull all the parts out and replace the case? haha
  15. @SLIClocker Already have all of that checked, and trust me I checked the RAM 10 times 10 times 10. I bent myself backwards trying to figure this out. @Almighty_Spoon Yeees sir. That's the first thing I checked, since all the guides said that was what most people got wrong. EDIT: Also, thanks for all the help guys.
  16. Nope, the motherboard has no debug LED's or Post displays. Could the ports/GPU Fan and everything else still run even if the motherboard is dead?
  17. I tried plugging the monitor into my graphics card and switching it to the port on my motherboard, basically everywhere it could go. Nothing yet.
  18. Yes actually, I should have included that in my original post. I pushed in the cables and checked to see if they were placed correctly.
  19. ^ As the title says, I'm looking for a pre-built gaming PC capable of running League of Legends (and maybe some modern games) at medium settings AND stream my gameplay for around an average $500. This is just in case the PC I'm currently building flops.
  20. Did some research and bought PC parts and decided to try my hands at playing god (with PC's) - I built this baby: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/LordNeophyte/saved/tdpPxr - A budget gaming PC. I put it all together and it turns on just fine but it simply won't post. I can't tell what's wrong after searching non-stop everywhere. Everything seems to work fine (The fan blows, I blow, the USB ports on the motherboard work when you connect something, string of LED lights I bought work just fine, etc.) it just simply won't POST when connected to a monitor, nothing shows up and it doesn't BEEP at all when speakers are connected. PC Part Picker List (Again): http://pcpartpicker.com/user/LordNeophyte/saved/tdpPxr Solutions I've tried: - Using the jumper to reset/clear the BIOS. ( X ) - Removing RAM Sticks one by one and try it without one and the other ( X ) - Changing monitors and cables (Just in case it was the monitor... or the cables.) ( X ) - Removing excess objects (Extra fans, lights, etc.) and basically test benching it bare bones ( X ) - Praying to the LTT gods to randomly bless me with a working PC (I did this twice...) ( X ) - Connecting speakers (Since the motherboard apparently didn't come with any speakers) to hear beeps, it doesn't beep. ( X ) - Fixing SATA Cables, 20+4 Pin Connectors, etc etc etc. ( X ) Haven't tried: - Using RAM sticks and other stuff on a different working PC (I don't have another working PC, only 3 laptops.) Super frustrated, I did so much research on this. Maybe some parts aren't compatible even though PC Part Picker says otherwise? What should I replace? If all else fails I won't build anything at all, learn some more and do some more research. EDIT: Grammar/Spelling, it's 3 AM.
