  3. What's go'in on. Gents? ohh and Lady. Wats up? Question please to all my way smarter friends A friend of mine has a ROKU at their house. and I was watching It. I thought it was great. Long story short after I told him that I thought it was awesome, and that Ill have to go get one soon. When all of a sudden Pappa Roku appeared. and blessed me. As he had 5 spare ones lol So I gets home. I run up driveway run to the PC all enthusiastic. Plug it all in. get it all connected and working 100%. when this happened long story short. my monitor has no speakers. So I cannot listen to anything. is there any way I can get the audio to pas thru. can I just cast it to my PC? cause current config is . intel CPU. with on board GFX and a discreet GT 730 Nvidia!! 1X HDMI 1X VGA 1X DVI 32" monitor (Ladies ) Now I am spitballin here would it be possible. to plug the ROKU into my video card,so plugging it in to the HDMI as the INPUT and then using the DVI OUTPUT on the vid card that would be going to my monitor.? or does the NV hardware not let you pass thru like that? so if that is a no go. any other options. I have found a box that lets me take the AV signal and put it into headphones or toslink back into whatever... But that requires Rupees. mucho Rupees https://www.amazon.com.au/Proster-Extractor-Converter-Optical-Splitter/dp/B073TT8JGN . Soooo... help me obiwan kenobi's. you my only hopez
  4. thanks mate. probably dodged a bullet. she said it just stopped working. and then she said she didnt have a charger. so I though maybe flat battery. was going to get a cable and try it. but I thought it was a 2015 pro. but yeah 7 year old, and apple. defo broken haha

Hey guys. have an opportunity to buy this for $30 US as they think its not working. they dont have a charger. so I am wondering which charger I need. it has lightening, USB C and USB 3.0 also the weird plug on the end. question. can you charge throu the type C or lightening port? or must it go through its charging port? as it may help me as I have a lightening and USB cable. cheers everyone
  6. id love to use AMD video card. my Intel IGP 510 in my 1151 skylake really sucks. barely plays CSGO. defo not ARMA 3 haha I tried
  7. i have had a B150 board from asrock. and it was pretty sweet. It had more features compared to asus and gigabyte. and it was flawless I just sold it to get this upgrade their PCB are quite thin. the ultra durable mobo's have a good feel of quality but asrock is offsetting that with extra featres and good components. the have 12K caps on this board to. and high end audio. so I am 75% sure ill go AASrock. see what a few more ppl say
  8. yeah the Asrock has heaps more Rear USB which I use a lot. and I dont have a case at the moment so dont have front usb to use. 2nd is it has more gold in PCIE, DIMM and CPU which gigabyte dont do until the higher end gaming/ Z series chipsets it also has 10 phases and Digi VRM as oposed to 6 and std VRM on the gigabyte asrock also lets you overclock the RAM in their H series so I can run the DDR 4 at 2400mhz instead of 2133 which isnt much I know but... Im not interested in K series CPU i find them silly and overpriced the one negative for asrock is the sata plugs are not in the flat position like so many other boards. they stick up but im not into asthetics the gigabyte board is about 20 bucks cheaper as well. but im putting in a I5 6500 3.2ghz. and in 2 weeks I was putting in the i7 6700 (non K) so the extra power phases will help with the high end cpu so feature wise the Asrock wins hands down.
  9. Hey guys Tossing up here between gigabyte H170 D blah blah http://www.gigabyte.com.au/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5519#ov and Asrock H170 performance http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty H170 Performance/ not using K series so no need for Z chipset which would you buy
