    I think the coolest one is the GTX 1080 MSI Seahawk ( in temperature) but the coolest looking one i agree with you is gotta be the Gigabyte one.

    I think you should go with the Razer Blade. It has a QHD+ Screen and GTX 970M for some light to medium gaming. Linus has already made a review on it.

    Z170 motherboard are for intel proccesors with a lga 1151 socket like the i7 6700k or 15 6600k. X99 motherboard are for intel proccesors with a lga 2011-3 socket like i7 6950x or 17 5820k.

    If you go for the 970 sli you can have trouble with games that dont support sli scaling and as you said you have more vram in the 1070 so you can future proof and if you wait for board members card like asus, evga, and msi you probably can get a lower price then $440.
