  1. Hi can you update this list with the CPU I am not able to find it in PC part picker.
  2. then I guess I will give it a thought considering the lesser price point, would you also recommend me a GPU for less to moderate gaming.
  3. how about comparability with software like enterprise AV or encryption software ?
  4. I am not concerned about the power consumption but I am rather worried about its performance under extreme head and humid condition.
  5. will it withstand Indian tropical heat conditions at times it goes up to 110 degree and upwards with heavy humidity.
  6. I don't plan on gaming in this PC so I don't need a unlocked CPU or a GPU
  7. this list does not include CPU, amd ryzen 5 1600 is not returning anything.
  8. Hi Guys, I am getting rid of my very old (9 years) computer. which runs on quad core 2 @ 2.4 Ghz processor with an intel DG33 FB motherboard with 4 GB (2 sticks) DDR2 ram. so here I am planning to build a new PC. 1. Budget & Location I am from India and I am planning to buy the PC in US via Amazon. I can spend up to $700 USD. I can marginally increase my budget if required. 2. Aim I mainly use my system for day to day activity like web browsing, listening to music, watching movies and on the professional front I would like build VM's and test the enterprise software's. I don't necessarily run the VM's day in and day out. But I will build new VM when a new version of an application is released or when I am learning new tools/technology, rest of the days its just going to be more of a personal computer. so I don't think I should go for xenon processor, considering the no. of desktop application I will be using. so I prefer a i7 based system with little extra power so that i get a balanced output of both desktop/server like performance. 3. Monitors I am planing to use only one full HD monitor. 6 months ago I replaced my old monitor with an AOC i2369VM in purchased in India. if it comes to upgrade I might upgrade my monitor to an 4K monitor if gets cheaper and affordable. also at times I might be connecting my PC to my 4k TV (not just yet, planning to buy later this year or next year). 4. Peripherals I am not planning to buy any new peripherals. I am planning to run the PC on windows but not planning to buy it as I already have it. 5. Why are you upgrading? well I have answered this question in the first few lines itself. please share your valuable feedback. so here is my build please suggest if it looks good or it needs any change pcpartpicker PS: I am creating a new post as my other post is the getting attention I guess its due to new posts posted every minute in this forum. Also I am not against AMD but its just that Intel suits better to indian tropical condition.
  9. hey guys can anyone help me out ?
  10. hey guys thank you very much for taking your time out to build a system for me, I really appreciate your time and effort. maybe i should have been more detailed when i mentioned VM with enterprise application. I don't necessarily run then day in and day out. but lets say a new version of an application is released or lets say I am learning new tools/technology then I'll build a new VM system, rest of the days its just going to be more of a personal computer. so I don't think I should go for xenon processor, considering the no of desktop application I will be using. so I prefer a i7 based system with little extra power so that i get a balanced output of both desktop/server like performance. P.S no offense to AMD fan boys, but I prefer Intel of AMD coz of the extreme tropical condition coupled with power fluctuation every now and then especially in the summer.

  12. Hi Guys, I currently have or should I say had a very old (8 years) quad core 2 @ 2.4 Ghz processor with an intel DG33 FB motherboard with 4 GB (2 sticks) DDR2 ram. couple of weeks ago. my computer just shutdown accidentally and the next morning it didn't boot up. I figured out that the Motherboard is gone for good and I am not able to find a suitable replacement Mother board. so here I am planning to build a new PC. 1. Budget & Location I am from India and I am planning to buy the PC in US via Amazon. my budget is $570 USD. I can certainly increase my budget if required. 2. Aim I mainly use my system for day to day activity like web browsing, listening to music, watching movies and on the professional front I would like build VM's and test the enterprise software's. 3. Monitors I am planing to use only one full HD monitor. just last month I replaced my old monitor with an AOC i2369VM in purchased in India. if it comes to upgrade I might upgrade my monitor to an 4K monitor if gets cheaper. also at times I might be connecting my PC to my 4k Vu TV (not just yet, planning to buy later this year or next year). 4. Peripherals I am not planning to buy any new peripherals except for good pair of speakers as my old 2.1 creative speakers. looks likes the left speaker is not properly working. I am planning to buy the speakers in India itself as the shipping + duty fees will just double the price of the speakers. I am planning to run the PC on windows but not planning to buy it as I already have it. 5. Why are you upgrading? well I have answered this question in the first few lines itself. P.S: I couldn't build the pc last time around.
  13. both are old LGA 775 socket. and the processor is Intel quad core (from the times of dual core, core 2 duo and quad core) @2.4 GHz.
  14. My old Intel dg33fb motherboard had died recently. I was using a Intel quad core @ 2.4 Ghz with 2 X 2 GB RAM. I am planning to use this as my secondary pc for testing and learning. so I found a new Intel 945 mother board costs me around Rs. 1900.00. my question is will this mother board be able to handle the quad core processor ?
