DailyProcrastinator reacted to Cyberspirit in How many fans should I have?
Unless your temps are high you shouldn't need more of them. I personally have 3 fans (2 on front 1 in back)
I like having an extra fan blowing air directly towards the GPU for some extra airflow.

I know but I'm just saying that the 2080 Ti is the only thing that will get him over 60FPS consistently at 4k, and that 1440p makes more sense. Especially if OP just wants a 1080 Ti.

Skipping some parts. The blue parts on the case have been painted dark red, front panel, top panel almost done, EKWB loop done. Still need to added some final touches but because of InfoGamer by Reboot in Zagreb and GamesCon in Belgrade, I had to finish the loop. Here are some pics:

That's not retail though that's some random 3rd party seller. 1080 Ti's aren't available at established retailers anymore in Canada. That's like me selling a new unboxed 1080 Ti on Amazon for $1,700 and then people saying that's retail.

If you want new exclusively then get the RTX 2080. If you are willing to go used then definitely get a GTX 1080 Ti, there are some pretty good used deals in most markets and you can save a decent amount of money that way.

Tubing is 16mm OD crystal link acrylic hard line tubing from bitspower and it looks amazing with clear coolant ?

I also was able to get the tubes bent and fitted. I am using 16mm OD crystal link acrylic tubing from bitspower. Have always loved working with acrylic tubing, it takes a little longer to bend but looks so much better. These bends especially the double and triple bends were a little tricky but I think the shape goes well with the overall theme. Also the masking tape was used to protect the cables from any coolant spilling while filling and to train them to stay in place. Also the orange coolant that's in the res was from the leak test but was not happy with the color so I will use clear coolant instead

Next I made custom full cables (not extentions) and the orange sleeving matched the build perfectly. Also the decal in this fan was the first revision and was later inverted.

Ok so its time for a new project, for those who follow me on Instagram know this project has already begun. My last build, Project Inkling, had a bad leak with the PETG tubing. The tubing shrunk around he fitting area due to heat causing coolant to leak all over my strix gtx 1080. So while I waited for bitspower to acknowledge this and send replacement tubing and fittings (this time 16mm OD Crystal Link acrylic tubing) I decided it was time for an upgrade. While I loved the uniqueness of the build I felt there was just too much going on. This time around I wanted to incorporate my favorite color, orange, and what better color to pair with than white. Hope you enjoy this build log as much as I have enjoyed working on this build.

I'm not sure how good airflow is in that case, it wouldn't be my first full tower choice but I highly recommend the Corsair ML fans, I prefer them to the Noctua NF fans. They are super quiet, look better, move a ton of air, and are ever so slightly cheaper.

Looks solid but go for a bigger cooler, that case can handle it anyways. Look at 280mm AIO's at the least but if possible get a 360mm AIO.

    Welcome to the forums!

The Z390 platform is for the new 9th gen Intel CPU's, so in short, yes they are compatible.

Use PC part picker to select parts and configure your build, it will only show you compatible parts with what you have selected.

Also lets not start confusion by suggesting the OP visit the grey market to purchase OS keys. Not against the rules but lets be smart here.

DailyProcrastinator got a reaction from XR6 in Corsair hx750i vs seasonic prime platinum 750w
You are basing your decision off an unboxing? You aren't repeatedly using a PSU in your hands everyday. It is going to be sitting in a PC so the unboxing experience doesn't matter. These are both Tier 1 PSU's so I would get whichever is cheaper. Which will probably be the Seasonic PSU.

The voltage control software included with the Corsair unit is extremely useless, it has never caught on with any other manufacturer and Corsair has had this stuff for 5 years already. I have a Corsair RM650i, I tried used the software once, then uninstalled it because it doesn't even matter and I wish I never paid $40 to get the RMi over the RMx.

I would also look at the EVGA P2 unit if it is cheaper.

About $300 for peripherals and Windows, so not that bad. There are cheap builds are there are solid builds, this is pretty solid overall to me, and solid builds don't work with cheaping out in every component that doesn't give you FPS. Just my thought.

OP has peripherals and OS included. And really isn't overspending on any parts, so a 1070 if within budget is fine. Especially for 1080p gaming. How about instead of being an ass you actually make a helpful contribution.

Those builds are well balanced but I think you should go with the top build, Ryzen loves fast dual channel RAM so it is worth getting a 2x8GB 3000MHz kit. I think that the air cooler is the better choice as it will last longer and essentially never be a problem, whereas AIO coolers sometimes fail prematurely and it is a hassle to deal with. But I would not get the additional 1TB SSD, get the 2TB hard drive instead.

Why not an AMD R3 2200G? Or R5 2400G? And ditch the GPU entirely. I think that would be a good choice.

@JM21 always lays it out just like I would of. I'll just repeat what he said and add a little on. The armor cards have pretty meh coolers so you won't get the best performance. If you can find a 580 with a better multi-fan cooler, than consider getting that over the armor card. Like JM21 said, if you have a freesync monitor or you were considering buying one, pair that with the rx 580 since you'll get the buttery-smooth freesync. If not than get the 1060 6gb.
