  1. Go for AMD GPU, it will be way better in Starfield and in the future due to having more VRAM (not to mention being faster while costing the same amount).
  2. I'd also recommend ditching GeForce Experience and using NVCleanStall to install only required stuff (first four things).
  3. https://www.idealo.co.uk/compare/202128526/xiaomi-redmi-pad.html
  4. Dehumidifier packets won't help much, just saying... As for topic at hand, you won't knlw much w/o debug display. But since LED stops at VGA, I suppose the problem lies with graphics card. Do you have another GPU for testing?
  5. What is your budget? What speakers/headphones do you use? And for games/music on YT integrated DAC is enough for 99.9% of the time. You want an external DAC only for mixing or audiophile-grade experience (which also requires good audio source like 24-bit FLAC or even DSD).
  6. Those write speeds are on HDD level. Even DRAM-less SSD should be way faster than that. Yeah, Windows Update tends to break things when updating. Which is why fresh install is always better, because you don't create new problems on top of existing old ones. Also do what @unclewebb suggested, that also needs to be addressed.
  7. Looks good, though I'd probably get 6000 MT/s RAM, if possible, it will give a little bit more CPU perfomance.
  8. Take your card to repair shop and let them check if any traces have some hoops to places where there shouldn't be any. Maybe some trace that is responsible for fan control got damaged somehow... MVDDC and MVDDQ are related to power to VRAM.
  9. It can be even better with some tools like PowerToys, WinPaletter and Cairo Shell. And some other tools that you can get in the first link that is in my signature...)
  10. SMART looks healthy, so it might be a problem with Windows itself. Was it updated from Windows 10 by Update Center by any chance? Maybe fresh reinstall might help.
  11. Look at my signature, you can find some tools there that might help you. But I think that it won't help much since Write speeds are too low. You might need to reinstall Windows. Also run CrystalDiskInfo and send a screenshot of it here.
  12. Maybe a few MHz of GPU clock here and there, but nothing major. Temps might be different, though.
  13. What error did BSoDs give? You can check with BlueScreenView.
  14. Not really, freshly shipped MoBos usually ship with newer BIOSes. Besides, if that won't be the case, you can always try to find someone with lower gen CPU and use it to flash a new version of BIOS.
  15. It will be enough. NH-D15 is more than plenty for 7800X3D, so AK620 should be, too.
  16. Considering that your machine still uses Windows 7, I think that it doesn't support Windows 11 officially, so you'll need some VM manager that can report different CPU to guest OS. I don't remember, but VirtualBox might be able to do that. And some cmd hacks to disable TPM requirement. Google-fu to the rescue there.
  17. Test them using your ears, not spec sheets, if possible.
  18. Nevermind, here's a better one. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/999339351389124/
  19. You forgot to include a CPU cooler... There won't be any mounting mechanisms in his existing PC for AM4.
  20. Found already built one on FB Marketplace in Netherlands. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/7041637749201090/
  21. You can't get a full new system with 400 euros. Only used. As tkitch suggested, go for R5 3600 + 16 GB RAM + GTX 1660 + SSD.
  22. If you plan to use Optix, then go with NVidia, yes. Just not 4060, it will be a waste of money compared to 3060 Ti. You could go for 4060 Ti 16 GB version, but that will eat all of your budget, so 3060 12 GB is going to be your choice, most likely. Also go for 12400 (especially if it's cheaper than 12400F), I'd actually suggest getting it over 12600KF since Intel iGPUs are better for video editing with something like DaVinci Resolve. Besides, if your GPU dies, you'll have a backup to continue working. And additional 4 efficiency cores and 2 MB of L3 cache aren't worth much in terms of rendering performance. Also you'll save money for a possible future upgrade like 13900K. Or spend them toward getting a 3060 Ti G6X... Or a motherboard with Z790 chipset that would allow that upgrade path.
  23. Is it unreasonable to want to create less e-waste?)
