I am having an issue with windows updates on a mission critical Server 2016 Server. We do not run a WSUS Update server and just directly get our updates from microsoft. The server was update and rebooting and it has currently not rebooted as updates are on 24% then 20 minutes later 25% then 20 minutes later 26%. I think it was accidentally update and restarted as i was not the one who personally restarted. This server is a SQL Navision Server Spec Below is there anyway to speed it up ? Should note that the Windows update service and Trusted Installer Service have both stopped.

Can you combine the power of two pcs?

You can do this, it won't be fantastic though. as @M.Yurizaki said -

that's cooked into the chip though, (also Quadcomm have been doing 4 fast 4 slow for years before apple) The Bionic chip or any Quadcomm from the past 5 years is contained within a one actual chip. The combination of hardware like this is just not supported like your saying. -
100% agree with you and it's the same I barley use my work iPhone but it's useful if I'm low on battery or need navigation and wanna use my phone at the same time . And companies won't care what phone you use if you have the prerequisite skills

For the record i said that i prefer Android. However The correct answer is Apple iPhone and here's why : If you have users in a corporate environment and you wish to give them mobile phones the most secure handset of the 2 is the iPhone, If you are in IT at a SMB-Large company they won't care about spending an extra x amount of dollars/pounds on buying an iPhone if they feel as though the platform is more secure and easier to use. Remember people in companies are not all Tech Users and with that in mind the Apple line-up is DEAD simple. We give our users iPhone's and it keeps our bosses and us happy. The Appstore is secure and well audited, sideloading apps isnt really a thing, We update them constantly and nobody dares to jailbreak. From a security standpoint iPhone's are rarely hacked and that's comforting. (for reference we ban anyone using iCloud and they can only backup at their desks with iTunes) Remember a company will try to save money but they are still People - Normal average people who would love the latest iPhone as a perk. Even top bosses won't care about the extra spend if they can turn up to meetings with an iPhone X. an Extra £200-400 for 20 People is not much if your tech budget is in the £100,000's or more. Especially if the company doesn't count it towards your Tech Budget. Now the lower end staff ? Yeah sure give them iPhone SE or some cheapo Android, but for your most senior staff members - iPhone. It'll make them happy and they won't worry about Data being stolen.

Amazing. Big Fan of that comment

I've been asked on 2 Interviews So i see you like F1 ? Lewis Hamilton or Vettel ? What football(Real football that you play with your feet) team do you support ? Android or Iphone ? Although that last one sort of makes sense as i am working in IT. Really wanted to put a jokey response in like once was asked "is that really the best "insert sexual act" you can do ? "

Second thoughts on 7700k
Hayabusa1989 replied to xsimplyjosh's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
I have to be honest i got what i'd call a Dud 4790k, The thing REALLY struggles to overclock past 4.5. But honestly i feel like its just a pissing contest for Mainstream I7's at this point. Unless your planning as stated before to go the whole hog and delid you are not likely to make massive gains without the chip being too hot. I doubt it would give you much in game even If it gave you 2 frames more would it even be worth it ? -
With GTA 5 i play a sort of "what can i do without " game, Don't need unreal grass etc. I get 80-100fps at 3440x1440 with nothing lower than High. You can be smart

2 hours ago, GoodBytes said: Please note that it will be released in waves. Apparently, looking online some people are getting it. Microsoft operated on Pacific Time zone, so Media Creation Tool update and official release press (if any) may take time.

maybe so but i put : if you really badly can't live without having GPU in task manager you could jump on Windows Insider
-
Honestly for me personally i see the difference even between 60-75, I run at 100hz but I used to run at 144hz and i do miss the extra 44hz, I don't have the data to explain this but i really think it depends on your eyes, I have friends who can't see it and just feel like things look "clearer" on my pc compared to the shitty throw up experience of a potato console. Some of my friends think 4k 30hz on games is a great experience. I personally hate going back to 60 and refuse 30 and im not even being a master race guy.

Lets just get you overclocking normally first... Trust me as someone thats borked a flash before (did manage to recover it) you do not need that stress yet.
