  1. Hello all, I am trying to sort out some audio input issues with my PC. I just bought a ModMic so I could game with the boys, but my input volume is insanely quiet, so quiet that on voice memos I can barely hear myself talking while yelling. (People in Discord also complain about me being too quiet) This happened with an additional two mics I tried. I have checked both Control Panel and my RealTek manager and it is still too quiet with input volumes and gain maxed out. I have also tried updating my drivers and all my audio codecs. This is driving me absolutely crazy because I just spent $50 on a mic and I am still having to use a wireless earbud in one ear to connect to Discord on my phone. Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  2. All the rebates I've ever dealt with have come in like a charm.
  3. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nWyC3F I didn't even look closely for the best deals and he could pick some stuff up used to lower the cost even further.
  4. I would say go for a Ryzen 3 1300x over the G4560. Even though it's a great budget chip, the extra cores in the Ryzen would be super helpful.
  5. Steer clear of the last-gen AMD processors, they're pretty awful. Get a Ryzen 3 or 5, and maybe bump up from a 1050 to a 1050ti. The inclusion of a SSD would also make the system much faster, and there are a ton of Cyber Monday deals going around on them right now.
  6. Some people will try to sell you on getting an iFixit kit or a ModMat or something, but all you really need is a screwdriver.
  7. If you're going to buy an Intel CPU on a budget, don't buy an i3. Look into the G4560, which is the ultimate budget CPU right now.
  8. Overwatch is the only game I've tried at 60 FPS. Had to tear down my 3 day-old rig to RMA the motherboard and never had a GPU so I couldn't give you more info.
  9. Should I be able to find the range in the monitor specs or is it universal across Free/G-sync?
  10. Right now I have a Dell P2417H, thinking of replacing it with the Dell SE2717Hx.
  11. Suffering from bad-ish tearing on my new monitor, but it has excellent colors. Considering returning it to get a similarly priced Freesync one. For anyone with Freesync experience, how much of a difference does it make?
  12. Uninstalled it twice, just pops back up again on restart.
  13. Intel HD 530 Graphics, but with a warning sign and this message: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
  14. Gives me this: http://imgur.com/mraMn7Q
  15. I downloaded the ones for the i5-6600k directly from intel
  16. It gives me a really crazy file that's difficult to read and is full of symbols
  17. Device manager says: "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
  18. Where do I search for this? Came up with lots of wacky files.
  19. I did, unless I'm missing something with driver installation. I downloaded it from Intel and unzipped it, is there anything else I need to do or once it's installed it takes care of itself?
  20. I'm running a new i5-6600K while waiting for my graphics card. Everyone on the internet says this should be able to run things like Overwatch on all low settings but at 30 fps. Mine right now crashes trying to run CS:GO and runs sub-20 fps in Nuclear Throne. Any ideas for what might be going wrong?
