  1. Was talked about on the WAN show and has a thread in Tech News.
  2. Linus' Recommended 'things'

Unigine Superpositon, Firestrike Extreme, TimeSpy are all good standard benchmarks.
  3. Linus' Recommended 'things'

I thought this hasn’t been a thing for like 4 generations now... OP: No one uses heaven for benchmarking now.
  4. We don’t have any 1080p High leaderboards; run 1080p Extreme.
  5. free/free to try vpn

What do you want the VPN for?
  6. No Internet connection Ethernet - Clueless

    What is the ISP router?
  7. 1080ti brief freezing

Got a 1080ti xtreme, but now I'm having occasional brief freezes in game. They typically last 2-3 seconds and nothing responds during that time, and they can happen a few min apart. Any suggestions? This happens in any game.
  8. Is Freesync compatible with NVIDIA cards?

    Nope.
  9. Samba/Plex server

Most modern NAS OSes/software (unraid, freenas, etc.) support caching. Which one are you using?
  10. That sucks. Onavo extend was actually useful (compresses data sent to your phone, saving up to several gigabytes a month).
  11. Sim card on a computer

There's some USB solutions, as well as some m.2 slot solutions. Do you have a desktop or laptop?
  12. Help Todd Howard With a Decision

    1. Maybe, at really high refresh rates, but VR should be fine as long as you have decently fast ram. 2. Get a 2080 not a 1080 3. If you have enough money to get a 1080 in a few months why not wait a bit and get a 2700x?
  13. Help Todd Howard With a Decision

Why do you care about having 5GHz so much? It’s not like your 1050ti is going to overwhelm your CPU.
