  1. How good will this run?

Oh. Then why did you get a Z-board in the OP?
  2. How good will this run?

This would probably work fine: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/3MJkcf/asus-prime-z370-a-atx-lga1151-motherboard-prime-z370-a Do make sure it has all the features you want though.
  3. New GPUs and prices for older gens

Depends on the size. Resolution should always be taken in the context of screen size; aka pixel density.
  4. How good will this run?

A Z370 board, idk how close you are to budget limits so I can't say a specific one. Also make sure you quote who you reply to that way we get a notification.
  5. How good will this run?

One of these needs to change. Coffee lake (8000 series) isn't compatible with 200 series boards.
  6. Help! Need direction on first build!

What games? Why? What monitor? What resolution? What refresh rate?
  7. Will 240hz monitor have any downsides at 60fps?

Why spend the money on 240Hz if you can't get it? It would be a much better idea to get a 120-165Hz G-sync display, like this one (its even 1440p): https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CwgPxr/dell-s2417dg-238-165hz-monitor-s2417dg
  8. How to fix signal problems AV reciever

Well this just proved true. Was unable to get the pc port working by replicating settings from the game port, so I just swapped the physical ports in the software (assigned the game port to the pc input and pc port to game input) AND IT WORKS. Thank you for your help good sir.
  9. How to fix signal problems AV reciever

Aaaaand that seems to work. Going to do some digging to see if I can replicate the settings of this input (game) on to the PC input.
  10. My setup is GTX-1080 —(HDMI)—> AV receiver (Integra DTR 70.6) —(HDMI)—> projector. This setup can pass the signal through (as will be shown lower down). The issue i’m having is that the PC and receiver seem to get stuck in a cycle of aquiring eachother’s signal, as shown by this video: I can break this cycle by unplugging the hdmi from the gpu, waiting a few seconds, and replugging it. The image will display o the screen shortly after. Obviously, this is not an ideal solution. Any suggestions?
  11. Shows two partions under one hard drive

Just open up the drive in gparted or something and nuke all partitions on it (assuming you don't care about the data on it of course).
  12. What issues are you having?
  13. So I have an i5 2400,

    Budget?
