  1. I do mining a couple of hours everyday .. im using a gtx 1070 .. the problem im getting is that the GPU crashes .. sometiems after 5 min sometimes after 3 hours .. the error is that Nvidia display drivers 3.... crashed and successfully recovered .. could someone explain why this could be happening? GPU temps dont go above 70 C and no overlock is applied just power limit and temp target is set to max. Also is there a way to limit GPU usage so the card doesnt work at 100% all the time as that results in quicker burnt components.
  2. I have some old parts and was hoping to put a PC together .. i wanted to know which chipsets will support overlocking of intel i5 i7 2nd adn 3rd gen CPUs such as the i5 2500k or the i7 3770k.. i have a Intel DH67CL Motherboard .. will it support overclocking or will i have to put a non k sku on it such as the i7 3770 or i5 2500
  3. Hello, I have some questions regarding bitcoin mining. I have done some research bt i still have a few qs. 1. Do I need to learn any type of coding or anything to mine bitcoins? 2. What software to use to mine bitcoins and whats the difference between them? 3. Do i need any special hardware or a normal medium budget gaming pc will also be able to mine bitcoins? 5. Is the amount of bitcoins mined dependant on computer? 6. If it is dependant .. approx how many bitcoins a month can be mined on i5 quad core machine with a GTX 1070? please give any other relevant info u may have. Thanks
  4. the only cards in market that will give u 60fps at 4K are the titan xp, 1080ti and 1080
  5. Overclocking gives a little more perfomance but sometimes that is the difference between 55 and 65 fps ... go for overclocking .. i have a gtx 1070 .. out the box it went to 2000Mhz and i overclocked it to 2130ish .. and the difference is noticable .. i always overclock b4 gaming ... For 1440p 1080 is awesome .. but if your budget allows it wait fr 1080ti.
  6. EVGA .. ftw 2 has better sensors and personally i believe EVGA is the best company for GPUs .. they have awesome customer service as well
  7. it was some sort of a pci slot issue .. it couldnt support the card .. i dnt remember all the details
  8. i think its a motherboard problem .. when i bought EVGA GTX 1070 ftw at bootup it wouldnt go anywhere from the starrup screen where bios shortcut keys are shown .. turns out my mb didnt support it even with bios update .. i had to upgrade my mb .. i dnt remember my mb model but it was gigabyte and lga 1155
  9. if u want 60fps guranteed than get a 1070 .. 1060 wont give u a stable 60
  10. i have a evga 1070 ftw and ir has rgb .. i use precion xoc for overclocking and rgb control along with nvidia LED Visualiser
  11. i have a 1070 FTW and i am very happy with it ... i was also thinking to buy Gaming X but i love ftw .. 2 8 pins and more power phases give a more stable power supply .. but not necessarily more overclocking .. see the vieo JayzTwoCents did
