Random discussion ?, Are there Online jobs that let people have a second source of income (were there home PC does the work, while they at their job)? Online jobs that are honest & help others. Jobs that aren't AD spamming or turn a PC into a bot.
  2. Here my Queston, would it be worth it to take make my custom pc an make it a 2 head system using VM ware like lime Tech? Reason 1 I ask is because the window 10 pro causes a whea uncorrectable error where home didn't . (Can't revert her back). Reason 2 is for daily use there is no need for a lot of cpu power (IE web browsing, youtube, facebook, and just would being able to run many things without have to alt tab out of a game, to do online tasks. Reason 3 would allow better usage of system resources. Reason 4 in case Windows forces a bad update, it will shut that VM istead the pc as hole. Side ? 1# can Vm's share extra/spare SSD's & HDD's between them as game space and storage & backup? Side ? 2# can Vm's share a wireless connection or do that need a Ethernet for better bandwidth & speed? Side ? 3# Would a R7 240 (single slot size) be usable for the daily driver & VM software (1 each)? Here a basic setup Gaming Vm : Windows 10 10, 6 core with 10 threads 64 GB of the 96GB ram, upgrade the r9 390 to a GTX 1070 or RX 490, 1 240 SSD for it OS storage. Daily driver VM: 2 core at 4 threads, 16 GB of 96GB Ram, 1 240GB SSD for OS storage, R7 240 GPU, and running Linux. Then leave 2 threads for the VM software. base specs: 96 GB ram, 1 480 GB SSD (games), 1 480 GB SSD (games backup) 2 HDD's (storage/backup), 1 NVME M.2 PCIE SSD 240 GB (System caching), 2 Xeon E5 2643 between them 8 cores at 16 threads, 80 PCIE lanes (the socket 2011 V3 I7 was to costly). Gpu for now, R9 390, & a Asus Z9 PE-D8 WS motherboard. Please & thanks from: Seth
  3. So I should to be able check for these bugs in BIOS/UEIF (motherBoard is: ASUS z9 PE-D8 WS) ?
  4. just need some help, with new PC build with Windows 10 64 home it ran fine, but windows don't see the second CPU. With Windows 10 pro She saw the second cpu, then a work fine for a bit, but then gave me this error WHEA_UNCORRECTable_ERROR. I tried using safe mode (no Luck), Tried Resetting Window through recovery mode (no Luck), & at best their about before 5 minuets before she does it from the main windows. My question will I have reinstall windows manually, or can Microsoft fix it from their end, since already payed for windows at bestbuy & got the Pro uprade from their microsoft store? SYS SPECS: 3 SSD's 2 HD's, 2 Xeon E5 2643, ASUS workstation MB, 96 GB RAM and a r9 390 from old PC. OR any ideal? Please & thanks
  5. I Have to go with older & newer hardware do to cost and buying pieces over couple a pay checks: The specs are a Z9PE-D8 WS MB, 2 Xeon E5 2643 cpu's, 96GB of Ram (48GB use as a ram disk/sys caching), 240GB SSD (OS), 480GB SSD (gaming/steam), 480GB SSD (storage), 4TB SSHD (backup), a m.2 NVME 128GB SSD (as ramdisk storage), and in 900D case. GPU's is a fight between 2 RX 480 or 2 GTX 1070 (price is the main factor). The PSU option I went with is a dual PSU's, one RMX 650 and one RMX 550 hookup through a Phanteks Power Combo. Its main role is playing both older games and newer games that come out, with workstation grade use, with growing room for better parts. Your thoughts Please and thanks? (Socket 2011 V3 was out of price range)
