  1. So, after a while and upon deeper inspection (leaving my past thread aside) I've finally decided to focus on an IPS monitor. The thing is, as of right now I'm stuck between these 2 options: ASUS MX259H 25'' ($260) ASUS VX239H 23'' ($165) I've been trying to inspect these models as close as I can, but to no avail, I can't find out which one of them is possibly the better value since both of them have very similiar specs (aside from screen size). Of course, the price difference is not really a problem either. For now, I'm only trying to find out which one of these could pose a better price/performance value ratio, performance and overall quality.
  2. So which one of the Gigabyte's is better? GA-H110M-S2H ($62) or GA-H110M-S2HP ($72) (Unfortunately, the H110M-A is not available here locally, but other options are also welcome)
  3. Alright, but then this list begs the question. How does one measure a motherboard by benchmark? Since I checked, all the motherboards I've shown were compatible with the Define S case I'm planning to use. But other than that, the performance? I'm not sure if I'm on the same page here. The screenshot is from a site comparing the best H110 chipset motherboards, although I'm not very sure about the way it's being benchmarked.
  4. Currently I'm having a little trouble deciding on which (best price/performance) H110 (LGA1151) motherboard to choose (mostly the difference in brands), although the choices are many, the main components to use the motherboard are an i5 6500, Crucial (1x8GB) 8GB 2133Mhz RAM, etc. Keep in mind this is a non-gaming build, so no GPUs or overclocking. (since it's not possible) The full part list is here: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JWGWZ8 Models I'm considering: MSI H110M PRO-VD: ($56.31) GIGABYTE GA-H110M-S2H: ($59.55) MSI H110M ECO: ($62) Asus H110M-A: ($67.16) MSI H110M PRO-VHL: ($69) ASROCK H110M Combo-G: ($76.75)
  5. Although one minus I've noticed is it doesn't have an optical drive?
  6. Wait, the cooler or the case? I think we're slipping a little out of character and taking our time talking about what would be discussed at the Air Cooling category. To be frank, the 2300 doesn't have as good as cable management as the Define S has, or it's been heard. For the fans, which ones are better I'm not sure, but there must be something that makes a case more expensive than the other. (in the price/performance segment)
  7. Since I'm after cost-effectiveness, this could be a great choice, but on the other hand, I haven't ever built a PC before, as so, all these are just future plans, and I had a though about the Define S because it was entry level-friendly. But that's just an IMO.
  8. Prices in my region are as shown: NZXT Source S340: $63.60 Corsair 230T: $71.74
  9. Checked all retailers - LOL Both are not available in here.
  10. My mistake, I got all the links wrong, here's an update: http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JWGWZ8 But yeah, I get that about the cooler, although I don't really know any other options cheaper (even the Hyper 212 Evo here is more expensive), and also the stock cooler would destroy the purpose of the quiet build overall.
  11. Oh, wait. I sent the wrong link, hold on. http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JWGWZ8 This is the real one. (fixed it)
  12. I've already prepared the CPU Cooler on a good enough level, as is, cooling an i5 6500 with that should be a breeze, not to meantion if the case fans are good too. Everything else though, is overall okay, I think.
  13. Here's the link if there is any CONFUSION about the INSIDES (the second time): http://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/JWGWZ8
  14. That's very reasonable, but what I'm hoping for is, if the Define S is quiet by any chance? And implying the price difference because the list is kind of short I'm guessing there is something better out there for the price?
  15. That possibly could be an issue since I didn't actually check before how much the case costs here (90+ Euros), so it could probably go down a bit on price if there are any other options.
