    Hello everyone! The hdd from my old laptop died like 4-5 years ago and only now i decided to get a ssd + reapply thermal paste because it overheat a lot, still does if cpu load is 100% all time without cooling pad. I use the latop like 2-3 times per week to watch movies and tv series at work and the date/ time after shuting down on the next boot will keep the date when it was turned off - i turn on wifi and sync time and its all good. It doesnt bother me . Now my question is Cmos battery besides doing this, will it get any worse and "lose" other informations? My bios settings has default settings . If you say yes, can you help me find the proper replacment ? I took a pic when i was doing the ssd and thermalpaste if that helps anyhow. Only noticed now that the cmos has something on it ( maybe mold ). Thanks guys !

    Hello everyone. I currently have my isp router in living room and on the other side of the appartment i have a extender. I want to have internet connection in my garage which is 3 floors down and bought a acesspoint. I tried to connect the ap from the extender ( doesnt have Internet acess although it says connected) ( yes, i made rj45 cable from appartment to garage.) Now the easy solution would be connect the garage cable to the router ( isp provider) but recently the house was " re-done" and personally now i dont want cables laying around the house. I read something about mesh wifis which could be my solution ? Correct me if i am wrong, It will do my extender job and then i can connect a "output" rj45 and send to the ap? All mesh wifi devides could do this or they need to have input from router and then output ? Switch isnt a solution because i needed to cross cable trough the house Thanks for your time everyone !

    Hello everyone. My current setup is xl2411z and a gtx980 strix , i am using dvi dl, no problems there. Now, I am waiting for the release of the RTX 3060 which is pretty much my only option at the moment with a " proper" price if i get lucky pre-ording. RTX 3060 has : 3 x DisplayPort 1.4a (up to 7680x4320@60Hz) HDMI 2.1* (up to 7680x4320@60Hz) My monitor has DVI , HDMI and VGA . What are my options here? I want to use the 144hz refresh rate, in worst case scenario 120hz. HDMI or Dport adapter to DVI (monitors) ? Thanks for the help everyone. Stay safe !

    B520 boards wont allow me to OC , i think. Not a big fan of matx boards , looks "weird" looking at a mid tower with a matx

    I wont upgrade pc until ddr5 is the main stream. My actual pc is ddr3, 4690k and gtx980. 3600x or xt is out of stock ( im buying at pcdiga or globaldata, trustworthy imo) Storage nvme 500gb and 1tb hdd should do the job . I saw a b450 40/50€ cheaper than the current one I have on this build. B450 tomahack max , although no gen4 or 2nd nvme ssd. Edit: the 10600 ( non-k) with a different board ( non z490) is better than we have talked before ? 3600, 10400f , b520m ...

Other details HDD 1TB pretty much the only thing i am "keeping". Its pretty much everything out of stock. So i will wait and try to get this GPU, otherwise no build . Do you think its a balanced build for the money ? I am guessing the gpu is 350-370€ due to taxes in PT, US might be same value with $ or even less. I find the build "nice" although i not 100% sure about Motherboard, can be overkill ? Tell me your thoughts !! THANKS !

My SSD might also need a upgrade.... Initial thoughts on CPU was AMD Ryzen 3600. Is it worth it? Is there something better at this price range, maybe intel?     The gtx980 is not "good enough" to run most games? That budget i had only in mind( cpu,mobo, ram)

    Also. Even if ddr5 comes this year its going to be expensive because there will be low variety, and now coronavirus is just going to make it worse / delay it even more

    I got an Corsair Ssd force LS240gb + WD Blue 1Tb 64mb + 320gb Green 32mb.. i dont even use 40% of my space ... Is ssd still good? If I am buying its going to be new, is it also "good" in today standards? Thanks for help.

    Yo everybody. I built my pc in 2015 and the setup is the following: CPU: i5 4690k w/ CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO MB: Asus Sabertooth z97 mk2 RAM: 2x 8gb 1600mhz DDR3 GPU: Asus Strix GTX980 4GB DDR5 I think this is the most important, my MB / RAM (ddr3) is outdated i guess. I pretty much only use PC for gaming, the game is play the most is CS:GO/ GTA V ,although i stopped playing new games because i fear the pc is not going to run smooth. So, can you guys advice me in which hardware I should switch? If so which models you recommend. Thank you for your time , Thanks in advance. Wilson.

    Hi, I am making a pc mod in an aquarium, its a school project. I don't know what kind of oil should i use in it: Vegetable oil or Mineral oil. What does differentiante them and which one is cheaper( since its just a project for school the cheaper one will do just fine). Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi everybody, I am currently using a Razer Tiamat 7.1 for 5years almost 6, so far i have never had any kind of problem, i mean i had one but i got over it, ear cushions had a lot of use and needed to change them and doing that was kind of a problem since razer does not sell them. Now i am having some problems with my mic, people who i am playing / talking to hear me fine but for a few seconds the mic gets really bad and people dont understand what i am saying. I have looking for a new headset to buy, will take my time to buy it since i am getting a speedlink clip on from a friend and will do the job just fine. I want a headset with a good sound ( 7.1 preferably ) and wireless ( always wanted one of these). My budget goes up to 150$-170$. Thanks everybody for reading this , and sorry for the wasted time.     Yo everybody. I have had my pc for almost 1 year and half. In that time i didnt had sound problems like this. For example i am in desktop using browser,etc.... But if i start any kind of game, LoL, Cs:go ,.. i will get a weird noise right of the bat. It sounds like the fan is hitting something,it stops in 1-2s ,and starts in 1-2s... ,but i am not even sure if it the fans itself, could be the GPU. If i "minimize" the game and go to the desktop the sound will stop and look like i am not even with the game open because it doesnt make the weird noise. I havent cleaned my pc since i bought it (1y and half) it could be dust inside the gpu hitting the fans.... or it could be a coildwhine?! or it could be the gpu dying? Sry for bad english .
